Yes! Awesome. Can't wait. A switch port would indeed be pretty cool. Also any chance the main character could use a whip this time around like some famous family? Also, Mig es tu français? Je me suis toujours demandé.

Switch and PlayStation are being planned, however it is still early so don't take that as an official announcement just yet.

Mateo will be able to use a variety of cool weapons that suit the setting. We don't really see the whip as a sensible addition to his arsenal though. Sorry! But hopefully you will enjoy what Mateo has to offer as a character anyways!

Mig vient d'Espagne mais il vit en France.

We are thrilled to be working on an open world game again and to have a chance to explore more ideas we have had for this genre this time with the help of Bobi on our team! We are looking forward to sharing more with you all!

Did IGA ever do whips justice in a 2D game? POR's whips were useless and everything about the way HOD controlled was floaty. I guess SOTN Richter feels nice but that mode isn't particularly fun otherwise.

Thanks Shiroi!  ;D

Have they been able to change the functionality of the whips to what we see in CV? That was kinda a letdown to be honest.
I don't think there's any, that would break the existence of IGA's Whip Sword; I presume that the change of whip weapons might be intended to divide the design itself apart from actual CV franchise

I picked up Ritual on my XBox. It runs like a dream there. Honestly, though, I'm tempted to get it again on PC just because of the modding community. From what I've seen, the fans have drastically improved the randomizer in Ritual and made it far more fun to play.

Wasn't here for a moment. Not always easy to find spare time for this hobby and latest years were bit hectic too. So it goes at pace it goes. Turtle one (considering this is a reboot too).

I started anew on the game last summer from zero - with an empty build. Left all code, game structure, every map, enemy, basically all I had behind. Re-creating everything, assets and code included.

I can share some early alpha footage here from this latest version of the game

If you're interested, I'd be happy to feature you on Castlevania: The Inverted Dungeon. Preview page, interview, the like.
