PS2, don't want an X-Box, and once had a DC that would overheat, and would one day like to pursue another to have all the US released Sega consoles.

Xbox was good for emulation, including actual Xbox games. If it was't for Xbox I wouldnt have played COD which I'm glad I did. I was a student at the time and couldn't afford to buy it, so I hired it and the rest is history ;)

MvC 2 on the PS2 was one I watched for years, it was always way too expensive, then the digital release came out, the value on the PS2 version dropped considerably (from around $80 at that time, to around $30 briefly). Hurried up and picked it up on the PS2, then it got delisted on PSN/XBLA, and that cheapness window closed up, and the game value went right back up for the PS2 version. I thank Capcom for releasing it digitally, as the value on the PS2 version had bottomed out, and I was able to finally get it for a fair price.

Really? It was never that expensive in AUD. I think maybe 60 AUD back in the day when it was released.
It sucks they've pulled it off PSN. At least I bought MVC Origins and MVC2 before it was too late.

Can't you download a rom?
Yes agreed and there's many more effed up things that Disney does.

It works great and the widescreen mod really helps, still, recently I've viewed emulation as a more last resort than anything.
The Ps2 version looks great and plays great on the (not so) almighty Potato.

Picked up Origins not long after it came out, first version of MvC 1 I have that has the tag mode intact, something my PS1 version doesn't have. Marvel Super Heroes is the icing on the sweet cake, shame this didn't see a physical release. As doe MvC2 on the PS2, indeed it was expensive at one time, and it is again.

MVSH is actually an awesome game. It's as much fun as MVC imo.

What would stop someone from doing a PS3 backup into a new PS3 with these games and MVC2 and just selling them at a higher pricetag?
These jewels are about to become extremely rare. UMVC3 new on ebay for 360 has gone up to 90 AUD.

I bought UMVC3, though not new, but in nice condition locally, $9.99. Only bought it because I had MvC 3 (given to me for free), played both once, beat them, retired them never to be touched again.

True, I could check the local stores but it's smacks of effort right now for one game.
I've actually been putting some collectibles to the side that I've been acquiring (not ones I've previously been given with sentimental value) that I'm storing in a safe place and hoping they'll go up in value eventually. I know that some will.

Recently I acquired a copy of Megaman X with a custom cover and two copies of PAL Super Castlevania IV (carts only).
