Or Kastlevania Kart. Alucard's kart is called Alukart. :3 And Dracula from the Konami Kart racer is an unlockable character.

I would probably find this more interesting if I didn't see first Mega Man 9 screenshots less than an hour ago. This will probably be a flop, shame they couldn't make a 3d Castlevania with innovative Wii controls.

Hmm . . .

I've heard peoples complain that CV needs to go to something new. Well, this is certainly new for the CV series.

As long as they don't something retarded like try to fit it into the series' timeline, this game won't do too much damage.

I find it odd how absolutely no Castlevania fan is giving this game a chance, and is in fact nitpicking at every flaw they can possibly find as well as ridiculing it for stupid crap.

If they're like this, then why did Symphony of the Night ever succeed?  You don't need to be stuck to one style.  After all, the up-and-coming DS\Wii connectivity could be taken advantage of and Shanoa be a playable character if you own OoE.

I say I'm going to be neutral about it until some game play vids are out.

What if the DS/Wii connect thing make the DS into a contoller for the game? The did that with pokemon battle revolution. (sp?)

I was thinking that it most likely will give you special content like weapons you can't find in OoE. But who knows.

I'm going to be optimistic until I get my hands on the game.  I never trust reviewers of big magazines any more as well as fanboys who probably wrote about the game to say how great they thought it was.  I didn't like MGS4 all that much, and every known reviewing company gave it 10/10s.

Aww, [censored], I no longer have hope for this series. I am not one to bash people for stuff, but COME ON! THIS IS JUST FKING RIDICULOUS! THIS IS LIKE SSB, BUT A RETARDED VERSION OF THE GAME! WHAT ARE THEY HOPING TO ACCOMPLISH WITH THIS? TECH DEMO? CASH COW?!? Well, that is strike two right there, strike one was the flopping areas of Portrait of Ruin (fking ugly castle is what it was). Dawn of Sorrow passed as a ball. This is strike two. Strike three and it's out, and I'm getting rid of all my Castlevania stuff.

I'm losing hope here, give me something to believe on.

Prediction:
Wii conectivity for OoE: Unlocks Shanoa and some other characters.

This is a great example for the old proverb:

"Be careful what you wish for; you may get it."

Here's to the discontents that complain over PoRK *cheers*

Reservations indeed.  I'm not much into fighter games; the genre more or less passed away with the arcade scene anyways.  I had my hopes up that Judgement would be the overhyped 1999 game --in 3-D done right.  Too much to ask for I suppose.  Dracula X Chronicles was fantastic, but this just doesn't set well at all...  OoE looks alright, but I really expect more from Castlevania...

It's really the same guy who did Death Note? Oh man, I'm feeling sick! I HATE Death Note. Now I know what Maria looked so familiar. She's a damn Gothic Lolita!

I'm surprised they drastically changed the character costumes. You'd think IGA would want to go out and do more SotN wanking by keeping Alucard in his Ayami Kojima designs. He looks rather STRANGE in a suit of armor. Simon looks ultragay(and people thought Ayami's Simon was riding that pole!)! Maria, like I said above, urgh. Dracula, I actually like his "heart" themed armor. He's got veins designs all over his arms and cape, and tubes coming out of his armor.

I think the backgrounds look interesting. They're actually pretty to look at. It makes me REALLY want another 3D CV game, but done right!
