Holy crap, there are so many fighters this year. This, Smash bros, Street Fighter 4, Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4, new KOF game, and some more.

I firmly believe this will be like Ergheiz. A game where it is made by a company who never makes fighters, and so this will suck.

Aside from my initial snark, I thought I'd weigh in with some more substantive opining. First, to those who really can't stand that others on this board are registering their disappointment, get over it. We are not automatons, and when something really lets us down, we are going to be honest about it. Now, is this idea as abysmal as some have stated? Probably not. But it

If I forgot "everything I knew about Castlevania" I certainly wouldn't be excited about a new one coming out now would I?

Well...this was a shocker.

My thoughts: I need to see a game play demo. The game cannot be justified in the slightest if the gameplay sucks. Also, please stop saying its like soul caliber....the screenshots don't indicate that. The person that said Bloody Roar was pretty accurate. As for the character designs...At first i was like "Wrrrryyyyyy!" when i saw alucard's art. After i calmed down i realized that it's not the end of the world. Hell, its much better than seeing horrible cloth physics.

All in all, since its a fighting game, im there. But if plays like garbage....then it will sit along side E.T.

because it's funny seeing some of you get your panties in a twist and post stuff like "y u bitching?! raaaaage >:(" like some people did on this page alone. :o

I also find the "OMG, the world is OVER, this game is tha sux!!!!1!!" people just as as funny.  :P

Jimmay17 made a very good point but some people are just blowing this way out of proportion, which in turn, is causing such reactions like "OMG, you guys r losers, stop bitching, lol!!1!" comments, which in turn, causes fighting, which in turn, makes panda's sad.  And who wants a sad panda?  WHO?!

I want to see gameplay footage on this game.

People take Castlevania way to seriously. I think this game is gonna be a laugh :)

Let's just hope they include every protagonist and sidekick ever, and also a whole bunch of enemies/bosses. The cast could be quite large if they wanted to.

Let's see:

Leon, Mathias/Dracula, Walter, Joachim, Pumpkin, Sonia (not really), Trevor, Medusa, Grant, Sypha, Hector, Isaac, Christopher, Soleiyu, Simon, DEATH, Juste, Maxim, Lydie, Richter, Maria, Anette, Alucard/Genya, Orlox, Succubus, Shaft, Nathan, Camilla, Shanoa, Hugh, Morris, Cornell, Reinhardt, Carrie, Ada, Ortega, Gilles, Actrise, Henry, John, Eric, Elisabeth Bartley, Jonathan, Charlotte, Julius, Yoko, Soma, Mina, Celia, Dario, Dmitri, Hammer, Graham....

Oh dear. I'm not even halfway through the entire cast and it's already beginning to look like a very very bad idea.

I wonder when it will release. That would give us a better idea of how much time they have to implement characters.

Please space out your post into more consumable sections. I am seriously not reading that wall of text.

Yeah I like what you write, but it's hard to read that way.

So just a suggestion.

One thing that most certainly will be cool about this game is the music. Each character can have their own theme from their original game, or at least the characters that actually have their own theme song.

Like;
- "Theme of Simon" for Simon (duh..)
- "Tragic Prince" for Alucard (At least in my opinion, but some people would probably say something else. "Dracula's Castle" maybe. Dunno.)
- "Successor of Fate" for Juste.
- "Dance of Pales" for Olrox.
- "Vampire Killer" for...uh.. nobody really... Except I always felt it was Simon's REAL theme... but hey, that's just me...
- "Beginning" for Trevor.

blablablabla...

I need to shut the hell up now.

I still say Sonia's theme should be "Op. 13".

But of course there's no way Sonia will appear.

I don't know if that helps, but I added more lines in-between paragraphs. The white text on black background thing naturally taxes the eyes.

Hello All Iam Robert

I just want to say...I dont like this idea. I think the last thing a Castlevania game needed was a fighter. They should have made Castlevania Resurrection for the XBOX 360 or PS3. I hope Iam wrong about this. I also hope it has cool unlockables..(I.E. Castlevania 1-3, Super 4, Bloodlines, Castlevania Legacy of Darkness or Castlevania 64.
