It looks like Alucard to me. He seems to be wielding a glowing sword(like Isaac in CoD). Looks cool. Interesting that IGA's already aboard on making the NEXT GEN CV game he's been constantly saying he's waiting on. Hehehe, so much CV goodness. OoE is coming out not long from now. Judgement's on the horizon. There's the interesting Arcade rail shooter, and the SotN Radio show that follows up the events of Alucaard's quest and sheds more light on WHAT exactly happened after SotN. Who knows, if that IS Alucard in the PS2/X360 CV game, it oculd be set around the time of the Radio Show(remember, Alucard's missing during the Radio Show).

Someone said the characters in this game are Alucard, Richter, Maria and some new guys named Cyril and Alexis. If it's true, then this is indeed a sequel to Symphony of the Night.

That really looks like Alucard. And the translations sound like it's him as well.  Glad we're finally getting our PS3/360 title.  Maybe THIS will explain why the Belmonts can't use the whip. If this game turns out to be a sequel to SOTN and Ritcher was suppose to tbe last Belmont with said weapon...

If this is indeed a direct sequel, it would be oh so cool if the game started off with the final battle from SotN, just like SotN had Rondo's final battle 

And I bet this game is 3D. Unless it's some downloadable XBLA och PSN thing.. maybe running on the same engine as SotN. That would, in my opinion, be very disappointing I want NEW stuff.

It can't be if what shelverton said about the cast of the game.  He/She said that the cast includes: Richter and Maria.  Which means that it would either have to be a remake of SotN or a sequel.  In all fairness, I would like a SotN sequel.  It would shed some light on why the Belmonts can't use the whip, assuming that OoE doesn't.

wow, i finally have my excuse to buy a PS3.

it's way interesting that the cast is pretty much identical to the SoTN Radio Drama, especially considering the vampire hunters Cyril and Alexis are in it.
