Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia *** NO SPOILERS

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia HAS BEEN CONFIRMED! All those leaked screens were TRUE!

To me, these screens look noticeably more detailed and darker than both previous DS CV's.

Also, through process of elimination, this strongly suggests that a new CV for Wii is also in the works because of the "connect to Wii" option that was in the title screen of one of those early leaked screens.

Yes, I know! I gave credit, and explained my reasoning for making another topic. There is prob going to be lots of discussion about theses games, and should prob have their own topic with the first post updated with info.

To give credit where it is due, KOUTEI over on the "new castlevania on the ds or a fake?" thread first posted these scans. Thanks a lot for posting those. I just thought this topic deserved a more noticeable new topic.
Also, thanks to gonintendo for hosting the scans.

Btw. the screens look darker most likely due to bad scan quality.

I remember when someone posted scans for a sotn beta (one with some different enemy placement and outside of the chapel stuff), and it was also much darker than the real game is.

The room with the worm boss looks absolutely horrifying, the overall graphics and graphic stealing from previous games is putrid... and I got my money on more flat envoirments.

Figures they weren't going to change after Portrait of Shit. I wonder if the Wii Castlevania's gonna be another CoD as well. :P

well at least they're stealing some backgrounds from sotn now, so the quality might go up in those areas.

or well would were it not for the weird mud for the floor.

That room with the big green worm is just... I can't begin to describe how stupid it looks. Do these guys even pay attention to detail, or try to make rooms look good? I know a lot of amateur homebrew artists who can do better crap than that room -- and they don't even get paid!

That's not a green worm. It's a giant crab claw.

Aahh.. so the bash-fest begins!

I would like to see a video so we can, y'know, get a more accurate depiction of gameplay. That monster with the red shell & facemask looks alright, but it will probably go down in a couple of strikes unfortunately. Shanoa(?) still has a big ass head.. but who cares. The art looks like it'll be better than PoR's anyway.

It's still too early to tell what time period this game takes place in.. but the architexture makes it seem like a more modern period (meaning, nowhere near the 1100's-1300's, although I could be wrong). So, who's translating the text in the article?

For those that are already hating on screenshots, I wonder why you still like cv at all.

Don't know if anybody else noticed this but it looks to be multiplayer. At the top of the page under where it says Konami there is a black box that says "1-2" and then something in Japanese. I assume it's talking about players.

I have no problem with the way it looks. Regardless, It's gonna be fun as hell.

How can we be sure that the actual game will look like this? Aren't screenshots pre-realease usually not as good, or at least different than, the actual game?

The final product will look slightly more polished, but it's still gonna look like what we're looking at.
