Damn. I believe I've been a member of this forum for a long time, at least 7-8 years. Many people who used to frequent this place are gone. Among them Clara, Think Tank, Antraxx, there was this guy named Miguel Dominno Ivanoff who even invited me to join his private forum before vanishing. Good people, really. I believe Abnormal freak is still here.
Had some serious arguments with some people here and I believe I was called an ignorant asshole once, kinda deserved it I suppose I was young and didn't see things the way I do now.

I don't know why still I post on this forum, not being that much into Castlevania or gaming as I used to before. I guess it's because I still have the forum in my browser's favorites, and I'm not a member of any other forums anymore. I don't have opportunities to speak to people outside my friend circle, most of whom are on facebook, and when all of your friends are on facebook you really need to be careful what you post or write to maintain the kind of image you try to reflect.

So yeah, I like to have conversations with people from other countries, more than ever now that I am frustrated by society and politics in my state. In recent years I've mostly posted in off-topic as you know.
Oh, and moderators, I hope you're not taking my trolling all too serious, it's all good humor you see.
Crisis, if you are reading this, know that uncle Freddy will come and get you deep at night, rehehehehe.

This is a lot of the reason I'm still around, too. I'm not as into Castlevania as I used to be, but I just love you guys too much...

I think at some point, after being friends with the same people for an extended period of time, it becomes more about the personal connection to the people rather than the game series that keeps you at a particular place. That's why have off-topic forums after all; it doesn't ALWAYS have to be about Castlevania.

Whatever happened to Oralox?

I remember him being quoted in someone's signature for the longest time back in '06. Something about firmware or something.

There was also another guy whose name I can't remember, but his signature was from a movie showing a guy kicking off a werewolf's head and his signature was rick astley as shaft casting a spell. He was always funny.

Ralph (the moderator) totally qualifies for "Lurker".
Seriously, when was the last time you recall him actively interacting with the forum?

But if you look at the "Users Online" you may find Ralph at times.

Wow, I was able to recognize pretty much all the names mentioned.

I've been lurking on these boards for such a long time, it's rather interesting, looking back on it. Heck, the Dungeon was the first ever board I ever signed up to, back when I was eleven and barely learned how to type on a computer.

Back in '06, '07, I was far more active, now I just mostly lurk and post a comment or two every month or so.

For some reason, despite getting into other things and what not, I usually have moments where I return to this board and read a few topics before going elsewhere once more.

Not even with other boards I used to be more active in have I returned to, even for a single post, but this one, I still do, despite not being interested in forum boards any longer.

I was thinking about him today, it's a shame he went away from the forum.

I do not know what happened to Serio, but what happened with him over time was quite upsetting. Well, I do know what happened to Serio, but I'm not sure why. I believe he was banned from this forum. What I'm not sure about it is why he became such an angry and troublesome individual. When I first knew Serio, he was one of the mildest, meekest, and most helpful people I knew on the internet. Over some time, he eventually turned into the complete opposite. He was/is a very talented person. It could be that all the praise he was getting from his projects inflated his head too much, and he grew impatient with other people's "shitty" fanworks and stuff. Yet, when I think about it, I think he always had that troublemaker in him. When I first knew him, he had left the Mugen community because he had some kind of trouble with them (they probably banned him). I didn't really know what the deal with that was and didn't ask. Overall, I've found people like Serio and Kupomogli, who continually get banned from forums, are usually banned not due to some injustice on the administration's fault, no matter how much they'll try to paint that picture, but because of misbehaving.

When CVC was still around, I think Serio was banned due to some racist remarks, and he routinely fucked with the word filters - basically every word in Gunlord's vocabulary was filtered into something self-deprecating. I don't know what he had against gunlord.

I also recall some people being of the opinion that Serio was a female, though I rather doubt it.

I think he targeted Gunlord's stupid 'prunyu' whatever saying, because it is dumb and annoying.

Serio played with the admin abilities he had, and they were revoked. He never did anything racist that I recall, just standard trolling. Ironically the other staff continually filled his profile with racist and homo-hating content. This prompted his leaving.

Ultimately Serio was never banned from CVC, at least before he left. If it was done, it was done after he had left.
