Men in black the series S1E01: "The Long Goodbye Syndrome"

I was reminded of it again today. I remember first time I watched it (and the movie) I was 9 or 10.
Hell, I didn't give a crap about superhero cartoons. Superman? Batman? They could all suck it. The Men in Black didn't need any superpowers. They had huge guns and cool suits and glasses.
Damn, those guys were so awesome when I was a kid. And the guns, oh the guns. Especially the noisy cricket  ;D

Rumor is MIB3 is based off of an episode of the TV series.
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

I used to watch some of the episodes back in the day. In fact I also remember that the actress who played as the cornier at the morgue in the movie did the voice of her own character in the cartoon series. She was the only one of course.

>Making it worse by ignoring the fact the heroes of MIB actually have MORE ridiculous supertechnology at their disposal than most Batman incarnations

1) Batman is still considered a superhero.
2) Alien technology is still cooler than Batman's gadgets.

I hated this show. ;D Would catch glimpses of it from channel surfing and it always made my flesh crawl. Creatively void, I thought.

On the other hand, Batman: The Animated Series was the awesomest cartoon of ever.

Ah, the glory days of Fox TV...and that kids' magazine for the Saturday morning cartoon block. Good memories.

So, you're basically saying, you prefer a secret organization over a hero.

Batman's gadget, I believe, beats a lot of alien technologies.

MiB cartoon was lame, imo. Batman was much cooler.

Batman - Dark Knight! Bitches.

My opinion of it has improved since I heard that it and the movies occupy two entirely separate continuities.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.
