So, I beat MGS4 last night, and I have to say, it just might be the most amazing game ever! It explains everything in the MGS story. It has an amazing plot, very emotional, plus the game play is amazing!

They do a nice job with the locations in the game, I was very impressed, especially with the return to Shadow Moses!

If you have a PS3 play it!
Was it worth buying a PS3 for it? I'd say so!
What a horrible night to have a curse!

So, I beat MGS4 last night

wait the game is that short!? It's only been out for about a week.  I've been thinking about getting a ps3 to play it but not if it's only a weeklong romp. I'll get God of War 2.

No game is too long if you put enough dedication, especially with a very hyped game.

I REALLY LOVE the part in the Final Battle with Ocelot when the health bar changes into the MGS3 healthbar and Snake Eater kicks in, then he does that pose!
I told you... I almost shed man tears!

I beat it last night, and it almost had me in tears. Literally. This game is THE best game ever created. You will never play a better video game in your lifetime.

All other games PALE in comparison to this game.

I'm gonna go with Tina from ICVD and say "Play this game in 5 years and if you can still say it's the best game ever and all games suck compared to it, then it's really great. Til then it's just overhyped."

That being said, I've never played any MGS games before, so as far as storyline goes and general gameplay goes, I'm completely lost. I did however, rent the game, and have found myself quite attached to it. I bought it yesterday. Just started Act 3.

Do they say wait 20 years before you call it the best game ever or something? :P

Well, you can tell this "Tina" to stuff it. The judgment is decided. You won't appreciate the storyline as much because you don't know any of the backstory.

Well no, I say this about any game that people claim to be "OMG GRATEST GAEM EVAR", too. Yeah. It's a fantastic game, I won't deny that at all. But it just came out, it was a highly anticipated game, and it's part of a series that has never disappointed fans.

Play the game again after a few months, or a couple years, after some more blockbusters and sleeper hits come out, and then see if you still feel the same way. Until then, it's just an awesome shiny new toy that everyone loves and wants.
