Whaddya guys know about acquiring more disk space? Was wondering if there were a real simple route, like an external HDD. Amazon's first search result for "ps3 hdd" is a
500 gig external compatible with USB 3.0. Does the PS3 itself even support 3.0? Anyway, I hear 3.0's pretty fast for transferring data (Lord knows 2.0 isn't), so if it's a viable option, I may strike. $119 is a bit steep, though.
Or can I buy ANY external HDD and pair it up with my PS3? Dunno if the PS3 uses some kinda special encryption or if an HDD needs to be formatted a certain way or will work with the PS3 out of the box or what... I r dum when it comes to these things.
Anyway,
House of the Dead 4 is finally frickin' out, so that's a whopping 4 gigs. Had to delete a bunch of game data for games my brother played. Freed up enough, but there'll only be like 2 or 3 gigs left after this—and being that I have a pretty slow Internet connection, deleting purchased games and then downloading them later when I wanna play isn't really an option 'cos it's sooo daaamn slooooow to get them back.
