Been playing the new Doom on ultra-violence difficulty (just like the old games)...this thing is a blast. It's  suprisingly tough (and often frustrating), but it just adds to the fun. I'm liking the various ways you can strategize against each enemy wave. I've been spending at least a few hours on each level making sure I get all challenges, secrets, etc., and it's been awesome so far. Two days of gameplay and I'm only now starting mission 5! This feels true to the first two games, and yet, its own thing all at once.

It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

King of Fighters, all the 2D ones from 94-02 UM (XI and Neowave included, only 02 UM isn't a real copy I own :(). Will finish vacation with some Sam Sho, and perhaps a dab of Alisia Dragoon.

Yeah it's a REALLY sad thing that there was no such a Castlevania game on NeoGeo system... I can pretty sure that NeoGeo sound module can reach a Castlevania tune's maximum potential       *buzz kazz tttttt tsch*

Even NeoGeo sound module can be annoying with rough instrument and not-so-good arrangement like that of SVC chaos/kof2001-2003, It HAS that potential (check kof98/99)

Castlevania on Neo geo pocket color would have been amazing.

FE Awakening is such a good game but it's so damn long for a handheld game. I thought I'd made it to the last chapter and now wondering if the game will ever end. I believe I'm up to the second last chapter now.

Lost to the special battle against Rugal 02UM. It's far beyond my ability to beat him because I'm not such skilled to deal with CPU on drug (and the whole kof genre; I stick to 2d action from when I start to have knowledge about video games to now and I play kof simply because there're some unique and cool character design/supers like that of Rugal's)

For Rugal's costume design I prefer the costume of Rugal/G.Rugal KOFM style in some MUGEN videos; It's wonderful to see a Rugal with his cvs coat (during combat!) but everything is kof style; It's REALLY a shame that there's no such a coat after 94 ver. (during combat) in official titles of KOF thus every version from 95 ends up with Rugal without his coat (during combat)

On the other hand it seems the MUGEN character authors REALLY like CVS Rugal design; The actual CVS Rugal design in the original games is REALLY that cool as they described and REALLY a true classic

I've been playing a lot of Ristar lately.  Just the way grabbing, swinging and attacking feels in the game is pretty great.  Shame the game didn't get anything beyond a few mentions and cameos.

SO MUCH OVERWATCH
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Went back to Doom to play multiplayer. Can't really say how it compares to other MP games since I never play them, but this is fun. I suck at it, but it's pretty satisfying.

Giving the new re-release of Odin Sphere a try. It been release for both the PS4 and the PSVita. I got the Vita one as I don't have many games for it. That, and it was the only copy left, and it was cheaper  ;D  Very good game so far. Although I think I hurt my neck as I was playing the game almost non-stop yesterday... :-\  I'm almost done the second play through, the one with Prince Cornelius who was turned into a Pooka.

Opened a new game on FE Awakening, difficulty: Lunatic/ Classic. Even the first level took a few tries to suss out.

Playing Shifting Worlds for 3DS. Can't decide if I like it or not.
