Resident Evil Revelations -- Need some help guys

So, I'm playing Resident Evil Revelations on my Switch, and I've recently fought the Comms Officer Zombie, which as far as boss battles go, was exhilarating for all the wrong reasons (bullet sponge, no way to replenish ammo mid-fight, flooding the room with mook enemies, your partner doesn't visibly scratch any of them and can't even distract them because the AI ignores him and just bullrushes Jill instead) and while I was victorious, it burned through all my ammo (pretty much fired every bullet I'd brought to that fight twice) and green herbs. Compounding my problem in later areas is the fact that I'd pretty damn well scavenged all the areas prior to that clean of green herbs and ammo.

Now I'm chasing Zombie Rachel across half the damn ship in Episode 4 because of course she has the plot enabling device I need, but I was never able to recover even half my ammo stores and I still don't have any green herbs. She seems to be even more of a bullet sponge than the Comms Officer, and like him, never seems to show up alone, usually bringing 1-2 of RE Revelations' fairly bullet spongy sword arm zombies with her. And I don't even have Parker's useless ass along on this segment to ineffectually shoot at things.

I seem to have boxed myself into a corner here, and the game's finicky dodge mechanic is also doing me no favors. I've heard snippets on GameFaqs about supposedly being able to use Raid Mode somehow to replenish your supplies in campaign, but hell if I know how that's done, or if it's even actually possible and not just some guy bullshitting me.

Any advice? I've been loving this game so far barring the boss fights, but I'd hate to have to start over or end things on this sort of sour note, so I'm hoping there's a way I can weasel out of this sitch from where I'm at.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

1st search with the item that let you find secrets items, shot in the head to almost all enemys, some have other sweet spots but the normals thats the weakness, manage well the illegal parts (for me works to power up the gun instead of the shotgun or the rifle since that guns damage a lot and you dont need to do more damage)

I never have problems with bullets, I have a lot in the end, not sure if I handle well, find all or what but thats how I play, no sure if this can help you.
