That sounds like a sweet deal granted it all works. I'd love to pick both consoles up for $25.

Both of them work  ;D

Replay Pro should let you play imports but not sure. I think that was indeed the region free cart. Google it. I just have a Jap Saturn so don't have the cart.

I think it does because it has cheats and on there it list various japanese games and such also I watched inecome company(classic game room) to understand more.

it's just like this down to the menu except mine is black and stuff and not white

The Pro Action Replay 4 in 1 cart is the cart that is suitable for your non-Japanese Saturn to play imports. But there is one import game that will not work with the PAR 4 in 1, but I forget which game it i.

OMG that video made my day! Maeda is fucking god! And his English is just like something out of Anime18's dubs.  :D

I love how this went from "recent purchases" to "the god that is father of tentacle porn Toshio Maeda".

Best Buy dealio

I'll be passing on Laputa: Castle in the Sky, though, because those mufuggaz at Disney for whatever reason only included dubtitles for the Japanese audio track, which is bullshit to the max. Gonna have to pick up either the Hong Kong or Japanese Blu-ray.

I collect (and use) guitar amplifiers and stuff. I got this not that long ago. 1976 Fender Pro Reverb-Amp in good condition for around $550, which is a really good deal.

I also bought a neat guitar synthesizer and a synth guitar to go along with it. The guitar synth, a Roland GR-55 was $750, and I bought the guitar, a Fender Roland Ready Stratocaster for about $550. With the synth, I can make a guitar sound like all kinds of interesting things.

This video will give you an idea how they work (just watch the first part, the video is way long).

Roland GR-55 video review demo Guitarist Magazine HD

As for video games and stuff, I've been thinking about buying Mega Man IV on Gameboy (otherwise known as Rockman World 4). That's a pretty bomb game, and I already have V, which is even, uh... bomber? : T

I should get off my ass and play the bass guitar I bought ages ago. Got a pretty beefy amp with that one for not a whole lot of money.

Thanks! : D

It's the 40 watt tube one. As you may know, they actually went to 70 watts with a solid state rectifier that very year (1976), but I managed to get one that was apparently built right before the switch.

Here are some others I have, but I didn't buy any of these too recently. From left to right, an early 80s Roland Jazz Chorus 120, a Fender Super Reverb Reissue that I bought new some years ago, and a 1971 Fender Twin Reverb.

I also have this Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue. It's with my American Series Fender Telecaster.

Fun stuff, but expensive D:
I need to stop buying these things. Sometimes they leave me with a slight guilty feeling. I know I have more than what I actually need, so anything else will be an indulgence. I'm running out of room for all this stuff, so I think that will curb my amp appetite.

(if image doesn't show, it's the self-titled album by Continues)

Dan Gatto's new project. The whole thing's streaming here and I'm really liking it. I was heartbroken when Babyland split up, and I kept hoping Dan would do his own thing, especially since I always wondered what his music would sound like if he went in a fully synth pop direction and with drum programming instead of Smith's clangy industrial percussion.

Well, here it is. I didn't even know he was working on new music, so it's a pleasant surprise. Instant purchase for sure. Loving track 2, "Reckless Heart". This dude's got a gift for writing songs that are simultaneously despondent yet full of hope.

Mech based?

Don't know all the mech games that were on Saturn, so I"ll name some off and you can tell me if it's that.

Cyber Troopers: Virtua On
Gun Griffon
Mech Warrior
Sakura Wars

I suspected it would be Assault Suit Leynos 2.

You should give me that game and your Saturn. srsly. I've been wanting to play that game for ages. Been such a huge fan of Cybernator (a.k.a. Assault Suits Valken) for so long, that game looks like the greatest sequel to that classic.
