"Did you know when one's most desperation time is? It's when he was beaten up by someone critically...And he can't find who caused this."
This is strange. X68000 usually gets tons of complaints for being too hard, especially the clocktower stage and boss.
Same here. HATED that stage, especially that godamned boss on the PS! Playing the X68000 version is so easy, makes me wonder if I got a hacked ROM or something, or if Konami actually made original mode harder on purpose when porting it.
Is the she-Werewolf harder on the PS version? I thought it was just me, not just you! That boss is impossible to touch almost!I've come close to beating it with no sub weapons before, but the only way I've been successful at minimum is with the double-cross.May be they jacked the difficulty up on the PSX port or it automatically reverted to 'Hard' as is available in the options? It doesn't help the clock tower is the hardest stage to master imo.
In the PS version, the speed of wolf woman is almost Albus-level but player's attacks are easier to reachThe waving manner of Medusa heads also differ from Akumajo X68000 to CV Chronicles (Reversed in CV Chronicles and much like other CV titles IMO)And in block 8-2 (Bats and long passway like CV1), The player are less likely to fall from the big damn hole in Akumajo X68000 and PS1 Arranged mode (Player mechanics changed in PS1 but Arrange mode added some "protect" function like SotN that you can predict when you'll fall and tap jump button DURIONG falling to rise again. PS1 "Original" mode doesn't have the function)
Yeah, its a life saver sometimes lol, especially at that one jump
