What's with that weird part that sounds like the Dr. Who theme?

They toned down the blood effects and it's pretty good now. I'm not going through the whole game until it's out of early access to keep from spoiling myself, but from what I played 'twas pretty fun.

Oh wow thanks! GG to BMC still, it was a nice track.

I'll let you decide, Shiroi :)

Coincidentally these days there’s a thirst for the “metroidvania” style to come back.
Hell, there's a thirst for anything to come back that isn't a Pachinko machine or mobile game...any sign of life that ISN'T a remaster/collection etc would be great.

I've been playing the tabletop/board game Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion lately, so I decided to grab a copy of the PC Early Access Gloomhaven during this summer sale. I'll give it a try later this week to see how it compares to JotL.

I also grabbed another digital adaptation of a board game, Talisman, for less than $2. Ive only ever played the KH tabletop version, and I think its a really fun single session RPG style game.

Seems to me social media is chock full of sycophantic opinions that blindly follow trends and virtue signalling.
So bashing the original characters wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
But, I hate nearly everything about THAT show.
I don't see any new characterizations in it as any kind of improvement because to me these are new characters that are unrecognizable except by the name tags that were placed on them.

Neat. I really dig the ukiyo-e art style, but they really need to cool it with the effects.
Most of the time I can't see anything happening after a hit is landed.

Agreed. I still have my Wii, so I have my copy, but I know a lot of others don't.
It's a shame to see it wallow in obscurity.

Yeah, yeah; I'm still studying CV3 after all these years.

And I'm still intrigued to read about your findings!
