Legends of the Hidden Temple. Scary Aztec guys grabbing kids and snatching them into the abyss. Definitely wouldn't fly in today's society but I used to get scared as much as they did. My second choice is Supermarket Sweep. I wish it were around still, I'm a beast in the grocery store  :D

Usually Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. But I hardly watch TV now unless there's something interesting on History channel, Discovery channel, Military channel or OLN channel

Legends of the Hidden Temple and Nick Arcade were ok but gameshows always kinda bored me because I could never get invested. Same reason I can't get into sports. I watched those and Double Dare sometimes though just because it was marketed to me and there was nothing better to do. Oh the days before the internet, how I don't miss you.

But here have this shocking video from the Olmec Heads later years if you're 18+, which if you remember Legends of the Hidden Temple you almost certainly are.

That Mortal Kombat segment was hilarious.  ;D

I was a fan of BBC's The Weakest Link. The only reason was Anne Robinson's excessive sarcastic remarks and clever insults of the players.

That's actually not her off-camera. It's the writers of the show that have written all those excessive sarcastic remarks and expect her to follow along with the script. I believe the show was pulled off the air because they went too far. At least according to some of the stories I've heard. They even interviewed Anne Robinson about her position on the show and she told the interviewer that what you see on the Weakest Link is not who she really is. The weakest link is one of those programs that should tell other game show producers how not to do a game show. A lot of the people who went to The weakest link had to get therapy because of their experiences. Things like suicidal thoughts, tendencies and deep depression were the results of that show.

But they only got humiliated in front of millions of p- oh...

Well on that note here's something less depressing.

Glad you guys liked the Retsupurae videos, they mostly make fun of bad Let's Play(er)s (thus the name which is an Engrish version of "Let's Play") but they've done some other news bits, some of the best are riffs on a reviews from an old public access video game review show from the 90s.

Great Video Game Idea!

Symphony of the Night was disappointingly enjoyable

Notice that he gives Tomb Raider 2 an "A" in controls but Symphony of the Night gets a "C".

Here's some of their more typical videos though

What the hell is wrong with? #4: Nick Arcade
The part where they're asking 10-year-kids on things that happen in the movie Misery gets me every time.

"What's the first national holiday of the New Year?" "Christmas?" gold. Granted I was probably just as dumb at the time if not more so.
I always wondered how they did the extra challenge rooms as a kid. The British took an interesting turn on the whole "Use blue screen to make kids gameshow" concept that was obviously less of a marketing tool than Nick Arcade was with "Knightmare"

He's narrating a narration? Narraception!  ;D

Press Your Luck. I used to love that one as a kid, probably because of the dumb whammy animations, and the board itself was kinda neat.

Also, the Family Feud buzzer used to kind of scare me as a kid. Yes, I was a huge puss.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.
