Oh, don't worry. I have 1,830 MS Points sitting in my account right now, and I have every intent of buying Harmony of Despair the moment it's released and then immediately uploading like 30 Charlotte Solo videos to YouTube with random exerpts from my playlist (http://trollz1lla.angelfire.com/playlist.html) playing in place of the in-game soundtrack.
I'm just going to be an embittered, House-like jackass about it the entire time.

I absolutely love playing HD and have had everything there is to get for a while. Then my GT got corrupted and all my saves for all games didn't recognize my GT as the tag that goes with the save, so i gotta start this game over. If anyone is willing to play someone who is good at the game, just wont have all the uber gear (yet) nor my maxed shanoa and jon, throw me an invite :)

"HoD" in the title is so misleading. I honestly thought it was about "Harmony of Disonance" The game for the GBA, not the Xbox.
Why do two games in the series have to have the same abbriviation?

And the same first word! This bothers me too, since I can't just say "Harmony" in regards to Harmony of Dissonance anymore. There are lots of other musical terms they could have used -- I don't even think they've used Sonata yet, have they?

Most of the people in the forum refer to Harmony of Despair as "CV:HD" instead of "CV:HoD"

Yeah, I figured that might have something to do with it (especially since having Dawn of Sorrow as the first DS title was sort of along the same vein). It still just bugs me though XD
Regardless, thanks for the heads-up :) That's a good way to distinguish the two. I'll keep it in mind!

I thought it was too. Honestly, I think they're just running out of ideas. :-\ I don't see how though, since there's still plenty more musical terms out there that they could use.

posted my GT a while back, but gonna post again just to let all the people that posted afterwards to add me if they need help or want someone that is just familiar with the game to play with. I've got all my old gear back that i had lost when i lost my save. All stages and all characters. I still play on a regular basis. GT is Veyladrone, just send a message and FR.

So, uh...maybe I'm just retarded or something...but does this game require me to add people as XBL "friends" or whatever to play online? I have XBL Gold for a month and decided to try this game out, since it was a snoozefest to play solo, but when I tried to search for a game to join, it told me there were none. Either something's whack or I need to actually add you mofos in order to play it.
Anyway... Gaymatayg is Ebb Flak so like add me or something so I can see if this thing really does suck dick or not.

You don't need to add people. When playing multiplayer look for a Custom Game, pick Unlimited for country and you should get an okay list most of the time.

heya guys just starting getting into Castlevania to austere proportions recently, so thought I would join up. ( just bought CoTM, Harmony of dissonance, Castlevania chronicles, and the original Castlevania on gba from the nes classics range this week as well as just finishing SOTN for the second time and beginning a Richter walkthrough soon) cant believe how this series has been under my radar for such a while (probably due to first impressions that after SOTN the games would probably suffer from sequel fatigue a little, which now I know I was quite wrong about) so gonna be posting on this site often.
just got HOD for 360 last monday and already doing pretty decently on it ( yet getting a Valmanway seems to be the biggest glass ceiling in furthering my Alucard atm...). if anyone wants a game on HOD, just add "Patashnikk" ( with two ks ) and I'll have a few games ( though atm I'll probably be spamming chapter 6 to get that freaking Valmanway which I am really in the wings for getting...)
hope to chat to you guys soon about all things castlevania related =) ( will defo be blabbering a lot more.. once I get those castlevania games in the post ... )
