People love their Mario.

But I'm surprised Wario's Woods is in the top 10
What a horrible night to have a curse!

I WANT SHINING FORCE 2 FOR VIRTUAL CONSOLE ALREADY.  >:(
And I want Shining Force 3 for the DS, complete with all episodes we missed out on the last time.

Also, I'm surprised to see Kid Icarus higher than Metroid. And yeah, I didn't expect Wario's Woods to be up there with the good stuff either.

Mario Kart 64 is such a dumpy piece of crap. I thought that when it came out, and I think that now. However, I'm unfortunately one of those 150,000 who bought it on the VC, and afterward remembered just how crummy it is.

It's the only game that did the blue shell thing right.  It wasn't an evil flying missile of death... AND you can hold one behind you for massive Shielding Power.

Also PowerSliding was easier to do than the SNES.

Lastly, BlockFort and DoubleDeck 4-player battle modes were awesome.  The DoubleDash ones weren't nearly as fun and neither were the DS ones.

Two of the battles stages are pretty fun, sure, but I just don't like the racing. Controls feel too wonky and the course designs are terrible. Don't really care for power sliding since in the original game I just hop around a lot.

The sprites did look all blurry.  They took rotoscoped sprites instead of models... probably a system limitation (Diddy Kong Racing used models but that game was a lot slower at times).

DKR was all polygons. i r confuzed? Unless you mean like the item balloons and little other things.

DKR is perhaps my favorite racing game and I hope it finds a home (unscathed--unlike the DS version) on the Virtual Console.

Actually, DKR and the original SMK contend for best racing game in my book.

I do agree there, it's quite fun. I really enjoy all of the Mario Karts except MK64, which is only mildly entertaining for me.

Anyone else fail constantly at throwing red turtle shells in MK64? I've never had that problem with the other games. They always hit a wall...even if the guy I wanna hit is right in front of me!
