really? after all these years, they still can't think of a more interesting premise to set up than "anime schoolgirls, androgynous boys, and giant robots"

It's Yoko Taro though, If anyone can make this tired premise interesting, it's him.


Still... Nier Gestalt/Replica HD was something I anticipated.

I'm intrigued given it's Vanillaware and I'm a big fan of Muramasa.
The only downfall is it looks like there's barely any platforming (the original Odinsphere was also guilty of this) and it's not indicative of exactly how the gameplay works. if anything the 2d plane sections seem more visual-novel-esque than heavily steeped in tactical gameplay.
