I love those games.

HAL is a college, It's a technical school that does all sorts of IT related education and happens to be one of the best GameDesign schools out there. If they are behind the creation of Kirby or not I am not sure unfortunately.

On the title screen of like every Kirby game, it says "HAL Laboratory, INC."

It is a game design company located somewhere in Japan.

I'm sorry, you're right, its the Maker of Earthbound that did pokemon, but he mainly works with HAL, I guess you can see the assumption now...

the boss is Giygas!

in Mother 1, He's pretty much Mewtwo, hell, Mewtwo was Designed off of Giygas

In Earthbound (mother 2) He's the Creepiest boss ever!

If you ever end up working with the Castlevania team, make sure that plenty of 2D platformers are made.

I'm not sure if you will, so I'm just throwing that out there, and hope that you do.

While I love the 2D Castlevania's I'm secretly hoping for a 3D Castlevania done right. I think Castlevania64 was on the right track but it was like an unpolished gem. The flaws outshined the good concepts but the good ones never saw the light of day again.

Though a truly oldskool Castlevania with modern graphics and hardcore difficulty is also among my goals.
