What meme are you talking about? I've not heard of it yet if there is one. Besides, time is moving way too fast nowadays for the 'enough time has gone by' argument to even begin to register. It still feels like yesterday that that horrid cesspit of a series was cranked out, and by a Canadian author no-less, which is kinda embarrassing for me as a canadian and insulting to hear about at the same time. All that so she could cash in on the whole teen monster romance bit
Twilight Bashing itself was the meme. Ironic, as the only people who really care about Twilight anymore are the people who expend time bashing it these days -- all the fans have grown up and moved on to other things, and so has the author (believe it or not,
The Chemist was actually a pretty okay book -- Meyer's improved a lot). Bashing these days is nearly literally beating a dead horse. Why can't we just bury the horse?
Do you want vampire horses? Because that's how you get vampire horses.I just find the fact that people are unable to let this stuff go to be incredible and slightly embarrassing. Relative speeds of time or not, the bashing trend has been around since before most Fortnite Battle Royale players were born (if the voice channel is anything to go by), so it's been a while.
As for MOF cutscenes (so we can stay on topic), I don't think I ever was forced to watch one more than once. The whole game was kind of stupidly easy, particularly when it came to bosses -- hordes of endgame mooks were a bigger challenge than most bosses, and even then, given that the whip could reach from one end of Alaska to the other, that was pretty easy too. The toughest challenges were honestly the environmental hazards, which has no bearing on cutscene viewing. Not that most of them merit a second viewing -- the environments they take place in are mostly bland, the voice acting is bad even by "burly Scots chewing the scenery" standards, and it's pretty clear in my mind that Richard Madden and Robert Carlyle only showed up because contracts were shoved in their faces and they decided to show up and do the minimal amount of work that would let them collect a paycheck and go home.
LOS2 did not improve this.
Also, why did MercurySteam decide every Belmont had to be Scottish, again? Does anyone actually know?
