Played a good chunk of Udongein X until the game added achievements. Holy god damn the requirements of some of them are bad. It's like whoever wrote the requirements were taunting me. What were they thinking??????  Are they insane or caught by something?

Playing the Tomb Raider survival trilogy.

Completely blown away by it!

Finished the first one a couple days ago and now I will start Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Lol forgot to mention I was trying to get into elden ring when I realized I was spending night after night getting nowhere (or at least feeling that way) so I said you know, I still need to try those new tomb raiders. Very glad I did.

Elden Ring is cool and I know everyone loves it. But I put on Tomb Raider from 2013 or 14 or whatever and it's just sooo much more fun imo.

Wish I would have played these before working on Wallachia. There's a little bit of Lara in Elcin because I was a fan of OG tomb. But man, new Lara is even better.

I'll come back to Elden ring after I'm done with my OST. But I just can't afford all that time on constant death right now. Lol

Still playing Nioh 2. I'm at the Depths of the Underworld, the very hardest section of the game. I'm on Floor 13 out of a total of 30. At this point in the game, each floor ends with 2 successive boss fights, and the bosses have life drain on their attacks. My gear has let me cruise through a majority of the game, but holy shit is this becoming tough now. I'm either going to have to redo my build, really start to get better at recognizing all boss patterns, or hope that the upgrading perks that I haven't gotten yet are substantial.

I'm just glad I've made it this far without resorting to a build guide or anything.

Nearly done with Metroid Dread mode 0%
I’ve just cracked the 6hr mark and facing off with the ice boss Z-57
There’ve been some moments I’ve morphball jumped over missile upgrades purely to avoid them. #keepingitzero #movinglikecoke

Just played Night Slashers on the Switch. I've seen playthroughs of it before, but damn, that games pretty damn difficult as far as arcade beat-em-ups go. Love the visuals, though. The digitized voices of the characters talking smack before each boss fight sounds like it was made for a pro wrestling game instead, lol. Just awesome cheese.

Also finished Guacamelee 2 yesterday. Some of the optional stuff had some reeeeeally frustrating, tricky platforming, but I think the game did a good job ramping you up to it (talking about 2 of the key fragment areas and then the area after you get the key completed). I think I liked it more than the first one, and that one was pretty awesome, too. Some of the humor was pretty funny, as well. The only thing I never got down completely was the dodge timing. It feels like you have to anticipate attacks instead of just reacting on the fly. But the combat isn't really difficult in this one overall, just the aforementioned platforming.

After a time of thinking it over I decided to buy Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I was against it at first due to how badly written Odyssey's DLC Fate of Atlantis was (the Layla Hassad character being the prime culprit here). Also hearing about settlement crafting didn't make me all that excited either due to how messy it was in Fallout 4. Fortunately in AC Valhalla it is nothing like that. And I am actually enjoying running around in post-Roman England (I'm half expecting to find Excalibur somewhere. And why not since it's probably an Isu artifact). Several features from the original games have made a comeback such as hiding in plain site from the authorities. Being able to hide in hay piles and the like was a feature sadly missing in Odyssey but they brought it back here. I have noticed that the play style is a lot more slower-paced then in previous games. You do need to take your time to build up your character and the port of call you call home in order to proceed with the game story. Unfortunately not everyone can be dispatched via assassination. I tried it on one of those hulking heavily armored thugs of the Order of Ancients and no assassin indicator was flagged. Damn. It. I don't know how big the game is yet so I'll just have to continue onward to find out.

Oh, and another thing; The graphics. They remind my of PC-styled games rather then what we typically see in past AC titles. More subdued colors and metallics give it that Witcher 3/Diablo look. It's kinda interesting and fresh to see.

Been playing a little Panzer Paladin on Switch. Somehow this game completely passed me by until recently, and so I missed the Limited Run Games pre-order window from last year. It's a game I'd definitely like to own physically, so I think I'll track down a copy on eBay. Super amazing pixel art and some of the best platforming of recent years. If I were to compare it to anything, it's giving me Shovel Knight and Cyber Shadow vibes, with Metal Warriors mech action with the ability to hop out of your mech and use a laser whip, lol.
Oh yeah, and also:

Soda as well.

I've been diving like crazy into Sea of Thieves now that several of my friends own it. The Galleon adventures that used to be a mere dream are now regular occurrences, and I even reached Pirate Legend with relative ease after two years of solo grind.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Live A Live. Found it for the Switch. Never thought I'd see it released outside of its Super Famicom iteration. I have yet to try it as I'm still going through AC Valhalla. And speeking of that game I did find Excalibur. Thought so  8)

Recently messing around a lot of original Mega Man and X/Zero series hacks. The one that added charged shot and slide to Mega Man 2 (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/4099/) is pretty damn good. Mega Man 3 Improment project (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/992/) is still getting updates, while Mega Man 3 revamped (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/4773/) is a good sample based off of it, with some good twist of level design for castle stages.

Mega Man Zero 2 Revisited (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/7119/) is a really good way to neutralize infamous system designs in the game. Upon applied to Rockman Zero 2 Cutscene Skip hack (https://github.com/Ajarmar/platinum) alongside it a 99% definitive version of Zero 2 is already there.

TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection  8)

Every game from the most popular consoles of the day all in one. I was busy last night, lol. Minus -of course- the latest Turtles entry that has been recently released. Gotta get that one too.
