Not that I'm saying anyone is going to go out of their way to play a hentai game, but Steam has an actual pretty good Castlevania clone, Midnight Castle Succubus DX, that came out in February. Can play it in "SFW" mode, which seems to have about 80% of the content of the NSFW. Really good game in the vein of Simon's Quest and the latter Metroidvanias. Worth checking out, I'd say.

Yeah, I...uh...enjoyed that game too.

Dude, it really annoys me because it's actually a *legit* good game. The nudity is actually pretty good, but part of me wishes they'd gone the truly legit route because it'd be a banger of a game regardless.
-
Yeah, though honestly there are a few porn Metroidvanias that are better than you'd expect. Nightmare Sphere about a decade ago was surprisingly deep with multiple characters and such.
-
Is this done by the same group that made Castle of Succubus? I remember playing that game and it was very well done for a traditional CV clone. I didn't care much for the hentai aspect as I was too fixated on how well the game played.

This is exactly my feeling on the matter, and yeah, I think that was the same ones. Tower of the Succubus and Sword of the Succubus are two other collab games they've made. Hentai games that play, from all I can tell, really, really well.
They have a metroidvania they're developing for later this year and, damn it, I probably will pick it up.

I've been playing the Game Boy Castlevania knockoff/extra thing that came with Sword/Tower of the Succubus (Succubus Hunter) and I gotta hand it to Libra Heart, they really nailed the Castlevania music aesthetic. The first stage theme alone sounds like it could have been from the Castlevania Adventure, and the password and game over themes are suitably baroque. Lordy, lordy...

I personally can't accept the music in Midnight Succubus and have no intention to play through it, but will respect the group's future moves
Anyway, it's good to see side scrollings get more scopelight time by time.

I've been trying to do my part, adding as many "related" games to ICVD's site as I can (https://www.inverteddungeon.com/index.php?section=related&page=home (https://www.inverteddungeon.com/index.php?section=related&page=home)). But it's the kind of rabbit hole that once you travel down it you realize there's always going to be more titles that "kinda, sorta" fit... A never ending project.
-
Well I don't think you need to add them all. You can just post links to the sites that feature them. That should cut down on the amount of work but still allow lots of exposure... That came out wrong ???

Gotta getchu some Timespinner in there. Its graphics, music, and gameplay ape Symphony of the Night and Order of Ecclesia perfectly.
