Yeah, a pixel perfect video mode is really good news, it's quite rare for console and arcade re-releases on online services to have that. I think the Wonder Boy pack was one of the first that really stood out to me.

Either way, I'll just be over here playing on my GameCube GB Player because I like to keep my GBA carts...

The Gamecube Gameboy player smooths the image, btw.
So you're not getting 'pixel perfect' gameplay.

The GBPlayer basically has "Smooth" and "SmoothER". :P
And it also adds huge letterboxing with that neato wallpaper behind the game screen.

Eh, it's not that bad.  Was a cheap alternative to having an actual GBA back in the day.

had to check the wii u store just in case they had a castlevania surprise in there.  nope, but plenty of other Halloween stuff, like Bayonetta 1&2, Costume Quest 2, Rock Zombie, (nes) Gargoyle's Quest, and (snes) Demon's Crest

Would be nice if they did a port of HoDespair for WiiU. And I'm not just saying that cause I really want a detailed map of the CV1 stage.
