Interesting
Was this for a school project or the like? I have to wonder if you've kept in practice. I'd like to see if you could actually recreate a Castlevania stage or make a totally new one!
Yikes I just noticed a typo... Must have gotten tired!
This was when I first started 3D modelling in Uni days in 2008. We were tasked with a Light study, but myself and one other person opted for 3D models instead of hand crafted. (I was never really great at hand made models, and was better at schematic models)
I still know how to use the programs, but it would take me time. 3D modelling and photoshopping was always my stronger suit back then. (My other 3D works are substantially better but they don't really have to do with CV.)
These days what I mainly practice is photoshop in 2d. It was rekindled with work, but then I started editing some photos for friends and family, namely where there was an engagement and some random person was in the background.
I'd need a better PC to start rendering Castlevania-like stages. That and time
