4 million views in just over 24 hours, interesting mechanics demonstrated to say the least.

The game mechanics are interesting. I think there were several titles in the past for PC that did that. However in terms of Zelda,. this doesn't really seem like a Zelda title to me. It's like BotW except it's now version 2.0 and a few steps further away then previously. Honestly I'd rather see Zelda go back to the original play-style; true to form, original top-down gameplay that  us old gamers grew up with.

I think the weapon fusion system has the potential to be broken tbh.
What I like about it is that it seems intuitive.

I am getting BOTW 2 vibes, which I don’t mind.

My only comment is that while I believe BOTW is a beautiful game, I really believe they should’ve gone for something more Okami-Esque, given the music at the end of the trailer I s reminiscent of Old Japan, as are some of the design elements (eg Switch OLED backing plate design and Pro Controller design) in order to differentiate the two games.

One surprising element is the lack of ‘in air’ gameplay or combat which appears non-existent at this stage, despite this being referenced in the gameplay patents - admittedly which I’ve done no substantial research into.

I’m glad I only paid 41 bucks for it, because I’m sure it will be ‘more of the same’ but better, and I can see myself putting a lot of time into it like BotW.
