This is neat. It'd be interesting to have a randomizer version of BR where enemies and bosses are random (minus Dracula at the end) for speedruns or just for shits & giggles.

Update: The basic restoration to corrupted font is completed (excluding Portuguese-BR which Katriel, the refine project's lead, will do a full re-translation sometimes). We will need someone with extremely sharp eyes who can spot minor font error in multi-languages that was not caught initially. (Note that the result of multi-language dialogue scripts is based on recover and might be not 100% accurate to what the script should write).
And guess what? We basically redone the Japanese script!

I should clarify that as of now, the only hidden boss and level are in Hell Mode, and they are non-Castlevania related. Being able to access this level also requires you to take a specific path.

Being that I have been so focused on obtaining this particular achievement , I have not yet attempted to take the Castlevania route , so I have no idea if anything new is there in Hell mode…

The good news is that I’ve gotten good enough to make it to the hidden level and last boss in Hell mode…

The bad is that the last boss himself is a prick and continually heals himself while dealing crazy damage…

The manual has very little story, but it says that Dracula is reviving now, 100 years after his battle with Christopher, because people's faith in Christ is weakened. And as such, a black mass is held by those "of wicked heart" to revive him in a monastery at the town's outskirts, while the town holds an Easter celebration.

What I take this to mean is that those who have their faith weakened are the ones performing the ritual. It takes just one or two particularly determined loons succumbing to evil to think that a black mass for Dracula is a good idea and actually manage to pull it off.
