Little Mac, Big trouble?

I just Got Smash and the first thing I noticed was an abundance of little macs online. So let's talk about some strategies and some experiences. Now I just want to mention there are people that do nothing but play as him. Now one thiong I noticed that countered him well were the Fire emblem characters. Marth and Lucina specifically with the counter mechanic, but against a Mac that knows better it becomes a grab fest and honestly I do feel that Mac wins more offten. Also lag. At points I just could not counter no matter how hard I tried it was just impossible. Link also did slightly well boomerang?bomb/arrow can keep a good distance. ZSS ehh not to well when I tried and Sheik well, those needles do come in handy.

So over all I've beaten most Macs I've come across and it seems that to me at least there are a couple different styles of Macs.

1:Rush?Take down: Someone who just wants to attack relentlessly, mind you these guys can also kill themselves there was a couple who just went over the stage and boom all what I needed to do was duck. There were also time that when I used Lucina all what I need was a good couple of well placed counters and see them fly.

2. Laggy Pricks: I do feel that Marth/Lucina do well against little Mac but with lag messing me up I just had no chance and with how quick Mac is I just don't have a good way to counter Mac&lag.

3.Then there the worst kind of Mac. Competent players
they float like a butterfly and sting like a bee, but really, their patience is what makes them dangerous. Not to mention they counter as well. The only strategy I could find with this is to be.... patient, very patient. When I faced these kind of players we had a very big standoff  that I swear would go for like thirty seconds maybe more. Perhaps it was due to the fact that all what it took was one hit(provided that one got a grab). With these kind of folk i find it to be 50/50 it's really down to chance.

Maybe I'm crazy but this is what I've experienced.

The ones I have beaten are the rushdown type mostly, counter really shuts them down like 3-4 depending on how they attack.

Since my slidepad's silicone cap (the stick's head, basically) keeps falling out (we can thank Kid Icarus Uprising and Pokemon Y for it, plus it's a launch model that gets heavy play), I feel my profiency at online will be... terrible.  So I'm playing Solo (not online) until I get my replacements in the mail.  Then I'll see about venturing online.

And yeah from what I've read, a lot of n00b LittleMac players are on the scene.  He's easy to pick up and play, so he's a favorite for n00bs.  You can tell which ones the n00bs are because they fall off the stage when they try to hit you with his SideSpecial.

I swear he plays like Dudley from the SF games. xD

HA HA HA HA ^o^! Ohhh, is Neobelmont expressing concern over Little Mac? Then again, we had a pretty awesome match with one another, Lucina and Mac I think right?

Honestly, the one thing you want to watch out for is just how fast hsi counter down special comes out. If someone has perfected the art of Street Fighter 3 parries...Little Mac can be pretty scary. heck, Little mac is the easiest way to beat Cruel Smash just by doing that.

Just play pretty defensively...but not so much that he wears your shield down. Mac baby can really screw your shield with two side smashes and with his speed, it's sometimes hard to perfect shield that. But parry his smashes, and he's dead...especially if its his standing special.
