Topic: Proposal for the January SPRITE Contest

I was messaged by darkmanx_429 this proposal.

I think January's contest should be designing a Castlevania/Contra fused powerup.
The winning entry will be featured in my fan-game Vamprotector and the winner will have the option of designing other ones, if they choose to do so.

I would just like to know what you guys think and please answer these questions as well.

1. Size of the powerup?
-Minimum pixel size is 26 X 26.
-Maximum pixel size is 32 X 32.

2. How many items per submitter?
maximum of 5

3. Who would want to volunteer as judges? I need 3 people.

4. Additional stuff:
-There will be a poll to vote for the most popular sprite and this popular vote would serve as an extra judge.
-Animation is optional.
-No color restrictions.
-Be sure that you guys check for the feel and theme of Vamprotector. Any questions on the game should be directed to darkmanx_429.
-Remember it's fused Castlevania X Contra Powerup like this:

Whatever size dark's already using in Vamprotector, give or take, as the maximum. The minimum I guess would be wherever visibility starts to wane.

I think maybe an entry cap of three sounds reasonable. Enough for there to be a good variety, but not too many to make choices impossible.

Also, I think I'd be fine with 1-3 entries per person...maaaaybe even 1-5 entries per person.  Not really sure on pixel size though...sorry.

I agree with contestants being able to provide up to 5 entries. (Maximum. If you can do it...)

Remember it's Action Oriented more to Rondo of Blood/SCV4 gameplay not so much to the SOTN exploration. But it also a Contra title!
