It's not much to look at yet but I decided to make a start on my entry today.


I plan on keeping it low poly and putting most of the detail in the the textures.

I am already liking it and the idea for your workflow. You have a dynamic view going on there that already brings it out alot.

I would just suggest don't forget to set your scene, i.e podiums add alot!

Im sure i'll get some slack by submitting here and not putting more into my game (which i just started back up so no worries )
but here's my stab at 3D - keep in mind im a total noob when it comes to 3D art but im happy with how my first real attempt turned out:

I'm running quite a bit late on completing my entry but here is a second progress update, the models are unwrapped and all I need to do now is start painting the textures.

more progress. The cross is just a place holder, I was going to have a normal map and bake the lid detail from a higher poly coffin but  but I've decided to just go with flat shading now.
