I'd definitely be out by default lol. Believe it or not, and for someone who plays and records hard rock/metal, I dont have an acoustic  although I do like the idea though!

Mic your electric guitar without an amp. I've done that before! It actually can sound really cool.

Also, all types of things can become instruments. The idea is to promote creativity through limitations. It's a good song writing exercise!

But hey, you guys don't have to go along with this. It's just a suggestion.

Perhaps a simpler suggestion would be to make a solo piano piece? Just piano, performed or programmed.

  lol ah, i remember those days!  I can't tell you how many times as a teenager i would throw a mic in front of my guitar just to make sure i didn't forget a tune the next day lol.  I'm open for whatever Chern wants to do.  I like both suggestions you mentioned dude, either one would be cool idea
