I don't really like Vampire Killer MSX. I know years ago Morgoth Galaxius raved about how good it is, and I don't doubt him. But I just find it boring, and the constant searching for items unengaging.

I've never beaten Dracula X SNES. I've played up to Dracula but never beat him. I know people say it's not as bad as it looks, but I've never given it many tries.

I feel strongly that Bloodlines suffers from having limited continues. It's harder to learn the game with limited continues, so I've never tried. I did beat it once, and never went back.

I've never legitimately beaten Dracula X and very likely never will. I'd rather play Haunted Castle over that one.

Well, the other reason why I'm worried is because the concept of "Fan sites" aren't really a thing anymore in today's internet. This website is a relic to that from the old internet. It's really the last of the true Fan pages that were created back then and still maintained as much as possible.

Lots of ninja stuff lately.

Played Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. That had some really fun levels. Found all items and beat the secret boss, but I didn't mess around with the boss rush. Great game.

Ninja Gaiden Ragebound was next. I was kinda hoping it had more exploration like Shinobi, but the bosses were a lot better. Beat it on Hard to get the secret ending. That last part was tough, but fun. Both this one and Shinobi seemed to complement each other playing them back-to-back.

Then I played The Messenger. Liked that one a lot, too. Found all items on that, then played through the DLC. The music is AMAZING.

Just played Revenge of Shinobi tonight, mostly to see what version I had. There's the Rambos and the Terminator in mine, so it's 1.00, I guess. Maybe I'm old, but I don't remember it being nearly as tough as it is. Didn't get past the Terminator boss.

After a change of my password and email I couldn't login because the site wanted me to activate via email that I never received. It randomly started working again out of nowhere.
But, yeah, it's nice to see the forum is still alive. I'm not the biggest fan of Discord, personally...

My login is finally working again after who knows how long (I never got any activation emails after changing my password and email), so figured I'd share the latest news.

First and foremost, the game is 99% done. There are some music-related items, text-related items (hidden tomes in each level, a journal "recap" of each level completed) and final mixing of voice-over remaining. Beyond that, it's mostly boring stuff like developing a marketing plan (including an updated demo), forming the LLC and handling other business arrangements. Pace has been extremely slow due to life-events and day-job obligations that have taken priority and most of the energy, but the finish line is in sight.
