How to Program Dynamically in Game Maker

 It makes so much sense to me too. Dunno if I'd ever use it, but it's a neat debugging trick.

That is a neat trick! You'd definitely progress faster in programming if you can see what you're correcting at the exact same time as the game is in testing mode.
