Yeah, my CD's are bootlegs too (except the official Lament Sampler from the Limited Edition). Where did you find the Dracula Battle bootlegs? I cant find any anywhere!
Those CDs are mercilessly hard to find even in bootleg form. The first volume I won off eBay and thought I was bidding on the real thing. I still like it, even if bootleg, cuz it too is rare. It came out in 1994; same year as the offical copy.
The second volume I got through some strange boxed Castlevania soundtrack collection. The seller claimed they were able to get all these soundtracks together due to "damaged lots". It comes with 2 nifty, very thick and tall DVD cases, and has "Castlevania" stamped in gold foil on the a dark red background. It looks really slick, but the hinges that turn the "pages" of the DVDs inside break off easily.
It turns out the seller was lying outta his ass, as everyone of those discs, though actually silk-screen-printed, is so obviously a bootleg. They all share a similar set of ID#s on that back of the discs themselves (so printed from same stack of discs). And the printing on the cds are a bit blurry.
That said,it's still a neat effort from a bootlegger and looks real nice on my shelf. I also got a second copy of Dracula Batlle Perfect Selection 1 that way, as well as my first copy of Dracula Battle Selection, AOS/DOS ost and LOI's ost.
