So, on a side note, I've worked out a bunch of boss movesets. Text lists and doodles together.
Medusa
Gaze of Stone
Passive ability. As per Medusa’s original lore, her gaze alone
causes petrification. When she is not in an aggressive state,
she will cover her face and weep in self-pity. When she has
been provoked, she will uncover her face and begin attacking.
If the player’s line of sight collides with Medusa while she is
in this aggressive state, and facing the player, he will become
petrified. However, Medusa herself is not immune to her own
ability…
Tail Slam
When the player is within close range, Medusa will rear back
and slam her tail into the ground, causing debris to scatter.
Serpent Summon
Passive ability. Medusa will, when idle, will drop snakes from
her hair, which move towards the player.
Serpent Rain
Medusa will summon three special snakes, coiled like Ouroboros,
which will rise above her and fly at the player’s location in timed
succession. Snake? Snake!? SNAAAAAAAAKE!
Medusa Head Summon
Medusa will sweep her hand forward, and call forth several
Medusa Heads.
Snake Transformation
When low in health, Medusa will retreat offscreen. After a few
seconds, a giant serpent will fly across the screen, either at the
top of the screen or the bottom. Can be dodged by jumping or
ducking, depending on which she chooses.

Bone Dragon King
Fireball Spew
BDK will spout one of two types of fireballs at randomized instances:
*Orange fireballs fly towards the player’s location, explode on contact
*Red fireballs are large, and move slowly. Hitting it will cause it to
split into three smaller fireballs. All red fireballs home in on the player.
Tail Stab
BDK will thrust its sharp tailbone across the bottom of the screen, forcing the player
To immediately dodge or be hit.
Position Change
BDK, at specific intervals, change its position from the left/right side of the screen,
spewing fireballs as it moves. After relocating, its AI resumes normally.
Ambush
BDK will ambush the player twice along the stage, before confronting him a third and
final time at the end of the level. Once the third fight is ended, BDK’s rider will dismount
from its remains and challenge the player himself.
Sketches
Skeleton Leader
Sword Slash
Leader will swipe at the player with his sword. Distance determines the type of attack.
Dynamite Toss
Leader will throw a bundle of dynamite at the player. The coming explosion will cause
terrific damage if the player is hit. The dynamite can be knocked back with a whip hit,
and Leader is vulnerable to his own explosives.
Sword Beam
Leader will retreat to the far left/right side of the screen, and briefly charge his powers,
before slashing his sword. A large beam will project from the slash, and travel across the
screen at high speed.
Minion Summon
Leader will call forth his subjects via magical incantation. Subjects will be a random type of
skeletal enemy. Minions act as their own individual enemies and must be slain as such.
Defeating Leader while any are onscreen will cause his servants to die themselves.

Dracula
Dracula Form I
Familiar Summon – Basic
Dracula will initially call forth a swarm of slain Turkish soldiers to
attack the player, with each individual taking up one slot of the boss'
health meter. Slaying enough to empty the meter triggers the next phase
of the battle. Dracula will remain on his throne for this phase, enjoying
the show. Who knows, he might just crack open a hot one and have a drink!
Teleportation
Dracula will transform his body into a mist of blood, and evaporate it to
nearly nothing, and rematerialize at a random location.
Spawn Fireballs
Dracula will call forth several fireballs, which fly towards the player in
notable patterns. Nothing fancy, but it's been the guy's bread and butter
for twenty-seven fucking years. Wouldn't be a 'Vania without dem fireballz!
Spawn Meteor
Here is true powah! Dracula will replace the fireball summon with several of
these giant orbs, which will do one of three things:
*Fly at the player as we're used to them doing
*Home in on the player slowly, requiring multiple hits to destroy
*Reel back briefly, and then slam into the player's current position
Dracula Form II
Blade Swipe
Attacks with broadsword. Attack type varies by distance to player, i.e.
a quick swipe at close range, a forward thrust at medium range, and a
beam-producing long-range slash.
Familiar Summon - Advanced
Calls forth various familiars. Familiars include slain Kazan and Yeniçeri
soldiers, ghouls of murdered citizens, and hellspawn such as shadow wolves.
Familiars act as their own separate enemies and must be taken out individually.
Defeating Dracula while any familiars are still present will cause them to
die themselves.
Fireball Rain
In classic Dracula fashion, summons a multitude of fireballs. Sweeps hand
in long arc, and many fireballs rain down on the player's current location.
When at low health, they will explode on contact with the floor, creating
a brief pillar of fire, rather than simply evaporating.
Bat Transformation
Dracula will turn his body into a flood of shadow bats, and will charge
towards the player, before rematerializing behind him.
Teleportation
Dracula will transform his body into a mist of blood, and evaporate it to
nearly nothing, and rematerialize at a random location.
Dracula Form III
Demon Transformation
Dracula will turn into his good ol' Rondo of Blood bat-monster at the
beginning of this phase.
Fire Spread
Dracula will spit three fireballs in succession. They explode on ground
contact, and the explosions are harmful to the player.
Homing Meteor
Dracula will spit two meteors, which home on the player slowly.
Fire Charge
Dracula will charge up his fire-spawning powers. After doing this, his AI
will cease nearly all other attacks until he has released this stored energy
by using Fire Shotgun.
Fire Shotgun
Same as the Fire Spread, only all three will fire at once, creating a huge
spread of fire on the ground. Chik-chik-boom.
Plasma Rain
Dracula will jump high into the air, releasing a storm of ray-beams. The
contact dust they produce is harmful to the player.
Kangaroo Jump
Dracula will jump over the player and, naturally, roar menacingly. Easily
dodged, and his only real method of moving around in this form. Pouch
and joey sold separately. Probably at the Master Librarian's carnival stand.
Sketches
And I also finalized on a design for Dracula.
What Hellsing reference?
Also, ignore the Iron Throne look, poles were a bad idea. Removing.
