There is actually a massive difference between Trevor's SOTN sprites and Richters DraculaX sprites. Not only do they have better shading placement, they are also 'stylistically' different. Richters sprites are more reminiscent of the classic Castlevania's, Trevor's arent.

Wow the WORK you put into someone else's starting sprite set is impressive. And they don't look bad to me, but then I'm no sprite riper so maybe I just don't see the flaws easily (if there are any).

Seriously all this stuff looks good, and yeah the second Richter is more faitfhul to the box art.

thanks sorry for the very late reply.lol
anyway anyone do anymore?

I've decided to take up the task of completing this sprite sheet. I will try to get it done as soon as possible.

I've made some pretty good progress with the sprites. As an example I'd show you a GIF of the throwing animation, but I'm lost as to how I can get the GIF on this post. I tried the 'insert image' button, but I didn't get how to get the image on the page from that. So, if anyone could by any chance tell me how to put a GIF file on this page, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I really like your edition of Richter!

I sincerely prefer the sprite with colors of the original (Rondo of Blood).
But, I understand that in some situations to another one paleta of color is better

Those are some awsome sprites mgfcortez! I especially like the Sonia spritesheet. If your saying that it's bad then my fellow sprite artist there is only two things that you need to change before she shines in all her glory.

1. She's just a tad too tall.

2. Her upper thighs need to be thicker like a woman's and the breast area needs to be more pronounced.

Other then that, It's a killer sheet so DON'T STOP SPRITING!! :D

Hey, I'm not sure if anyone saw my previous post, but I still can't figure out how to put a gif image onto a post.  I want to be able to show you guys these sprites and I'm almost done with the whole sheet.  If anyone can tell any way possible to send a gif file please don't hesitate.

If you're alright with DeviantARD claiming the work as their own, that is.

'course, it's fan art, so they could deal with all the legal loopholes and that kinda crap for themselves.

Bump for a current update on what this thread was originally about!

Ok, I uploaded it to photobucket.  The animation here is him throwing (say holywater or some other subweapon), please tell me if the link doesn't work or I need to change something on the sprites.

I also have the whip animation.

I have, looks good. Looks small though... with HD gaming... and HD displays... well whatever.

You should make the gifs loop, so it doesn't just hang at the last frame.

I know, I don't know how to make them loop on photobucket...  And not sure what you meant with the HD gaming and displays.

Now you have me interested... How and with what program do I make HD sprites?

 'Edit' NOOOOOOO!!!!
I just found out Anapan's website no longer exists... That place was THE best for SotN/Rondo sprites, sound, etc.  I think a part of me just died.
