Dude! Please do!
EDIT:
Never tried the Romancing SaGa series, but dude, these songs so far from the 1st game sound like the perfect mix of FF, Zelda and CV wrapped into one. GREAT choice sir
Just wait 'til you get to RS3.
BUT SINCE YOU REQUESTED IT
Romancing SaGa & Rusty (previously mentioned, reposting for the sake of the list) (SNES, PC-98)

Altered Beast (arcade, Genesis)
Golden Axe (arcade, Genesis)
Legend of Dragoon (PSX)
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (Metal/orchestral you say? Meet the perfect combination.) (SNES)
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (SNES)
Swagman (PSX, seriously look this one up holy shit you talk about a hidden gem of a game and soundtrack)
Alundra (see above description)
Actraiser (SNES)
Actraiser II (SNES)

Bram Stoker's Dracula (SNES version)
Ghouls ' n' Ghosts (Amiga version)

DOOM (multiple consoles)
Silver Surfer (NES)
Shovel Knight (who unfortunately does not say "Ni!") (multiple consoles)
Total Distortion (PC)
Vectorman (Genesis, wildly different music style from what you do, but I feel like a metal/orchestral take on the OST would be
incredibly interesting)
Ducktales (multiple consoles)
Megaman V (Gameboy)
Valkyrie Profile (PSX)
Metal Slug (multiple consoles, any entry in the series has good music so hooray options)
Contra (NES)
Batman (Genesis)
Shenmue (Dreamcast)
God of War series(multiple consoles, feel like your style would be awesome with [insert literally any song from the series here])
Ninja Gaiden (NES)
Shinobi 3 (Genesis)
Alien Storm (Genesis)
Total Carnage (Arcade)
Mortal Kombat II (multiple consoles)
Killer Instinct (multiple consoles)
Savage (Amiga)

F-Zero GX (Gamecube)
Secret of Mana (SNES)
Shadow of the Beast (Amiga/PCE, both have different styles and merits)
...That's all for now, I think.
How old are you talking? I always thought some of the tracks from the Wizards and Warriors trilogy on NES were good, especially their title tracks.
ESPECIALLY the third one. David Wise for the win.
