Topic: I'm getting a Puppy!!

This's gonna be my first puppy ever. I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 7 weeks old. I plan on getting a male, but there's only one in the litter so I may end up getting a girl.

Name's picked out so far are: Java, Kahlua, Hiccup, or Nanobyte.

Aaaww!!! So cute!  And I don't even like dogs, I prefer cats. I like the name Java the best.

Gotta go with Java.  It has a ring to it, especially for a Dog name.
I'd like a Welsh Corgi, but I have a Border Terrier instead.
This isn't him, but still, you get the idea.

Wheeee that's one lovely dog! I'm totally a dog person, even though I never had one. Loyal, clever, and good-looking, that's what a dog is all about!

Smaller dogs like Corgis, Beagles, etc. are much better choices for a companion-type pet IMO. Large dogs need alot of space and can tear-up your place if you keep it indoors. Not to mention that smaller, short-haired dogs aren't as bad when it comes to shedding.

Corgis are cute and I've always been a Beagle fan myself, but by far the cutest dog on the face of the Planet has to be the Dachsund/Chihuaha mix they call a Chi-weenie. It looks like a Miniature Pincer that's the size of a Chihuaha. But if i'm not mistaken, they're

Corgi's have a very fox-like face, yes.

He's doing good so far. 2nd day home, and he's finally getting used to things and opening up a little. He's starting to train too and he's a fast learner so far!
