Assuming CV games got made again ofc. Personally i believe the reason Judgement got doomed critically was the Death Note guy designs making critics hate the game at first glance because honestly, the gameplay isn't awful. Had at least "classic" alts been unlockables i believe it would have gotten less crap.

Anyway, personally i would like a sequel. CV ridculously large roster is perfect for these type of games

I wouldn't mind, but maybe more of a Smash Bros.-esque type of game.

In a word? NO. Personally Judgment was awful. The reasons' are:

This is one I also agree with. But there are other reasons too (though more personal to me). Maria's conversation about big breasts (serving no real purpose for the story what-so-ever), and the non-existent CVIII love triangle between pretty boy Trevor, Mummy Grant, and Sypha (again, non-existent love triangle) is the last nail in Dracula's coffin.

A CV fighting game is such a good idea that I'd love to see a ton of them! That being said Judgement failed. CV is known for 2D, it's perfected 2D gameplay multiple times through the years, and then when the idea of a fighting game comes around they wanna copy Power Stone? I can accept that as long as the gameplays good, and it was OK. But the art.... omfg. I felt like a DMC fan when DmC was announced. It DOES NOT WORK at all. Like what the fuck did they do to Simon?? That was almost as bad as the Kojima redesign. The worst part of  Judgement was the writing though... Titty jokes are fine but in CV it just seems like generic anime try-hardiness. At least the soundtrack was awesome!

If we ever get a Judgement 2 or any new CV Fighter, they should look at Megaman Battle Fighters for inspiration: That was classic Megaman gameplay put into a fighting game format and it worked beautifully- its one of the most addictive arcade games I've ever played. If they do classic CV control and mechanics relative to the selected character: Simon whips in 8 directions and can swing, Richer has the backflip and item crash, Christopher has the fireball shot, Maria can double jump, Juste has the magic sub weapons, Alucard can transform into mist/wolf/bat and even Soma could have some of his soul powers. Sure it sounds like a mess but rather than a character being OP it'll be based more on the player's style and familiarity with their main. Use different sprites as costumes (8-bit Simon, SCV4, Chronicles Kojima, Saturn Richter COstume, 8-bit Alucard etc). I think it was such a wasted oppurtunity, and if they went 2D for Judgement I think it would've been one of the Wii's most respected titles assuming it was done right, and it would've been cheaper to produce by reusing sprites like the Metroidvanias did- possibly easier success.

I dont want a 2D sprites fighter ew. This isnt 1987 anymore

In a word? NO. Personally Judgment was awful. The reasons' are:

So, you dont want a #2 because #1 had character design and tit jokes. Because y'know, those two thing are absolutely impossible to change them for #2. Wow

I'd rather like to see a Judgement 2 that doesn't acknowledge it's predecessor (things are just less awkward that way). Throw out a narrative justification and pull a Smash Bros "you wanted to see these blokes, fight, so let's have 'em fight". It's not that a narrative justification CAN'T work (I mean, Project Soul got Link, Spawn, and Heihachi into the Soul Calibur universe with no problems that way), but I've seen a lot of people take the Time Rift excuse plot waaaay more seriously than it should have been. Better to do without it and just go "why is Gabriel Belmont fighting Leon? Because it's awesome, dear boy. Because it's awesome."
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

They can acknowledge it. It'd probably be boiled down to token mentions by Aeon (if he appreared) or minor stuff like "I feel i remember you/you look familiar" since the character memories are erased after leaving the Time Rift

See, that is doable. As a story, the failure of Judgement was that it came across like it was telling A Lie Too Big that was steadily collapsing on itself the more it tried to shore up supports. But a broad strokes version like you described would honestly be a perfect fit.

Well, judging that Judgment is shit, No.
I would more like Harmony of Despair with Symphony of the Night gameplay for all-stars.

I would like it if it's 2D sidescroller fighting game has Kojima art, Good graphics and good music, and featuring more characters and their alternative clothing.

If it'd hypothetically be anything like the first insofar as general design and aesthetics:
