UPDATE: I will have a new video soon of Cairo block 1-1 to show. It's the redone portion of the desert area from the Alpha. I added a portion where you enter a pyramid from the outside and I am recreating the sandstorm and heat wave effects I had in the stage before.

On a side note. I am working on the final portion of Stoker's Fable (Helsing's Prologue stage) now that I have created a Coppola Vlad sprite I am pretty proud of. Vlad doesn't turn into a bat, but he has wolf, rats, and beast forms. The special attacks are a work in progress.

I should have a cool preview vid of the boss fight in the next couple of weeks.

Those are some awesome Bram Stoker's Dracula sprites you got going on there. About time they made an appearance in Castlevania- er... Vamprotector.  ;D

Vamprotector Cairo 1-1 Alpha

Experimenting with a day and night system and moving platforms. I still need to add the heat wave and sand storm elements. After this section is done, I probably will do the Ghost Ship next. (A lot of people really like those original stages I did.)

Right now, I am working on some Z Brush work which is taking me away from the build for a bit. I am also bug testing BMC Warmachine's Castlevania Chronicles: Dracula's Curse to get ready for the demo he is about to release.

Looks good! The only thing detracting from the game itself is obvious Knuckles head on the pyramid stonework. If you're unable to, you should get a sprite artist to fix that up for you. You can put something else in place of Knuckles heads.

This stage is looking good so far, you plan to add more moving platforms?

Great work man! But you shouldn't reveal so much of your game! You're spoiling the surprises!

You do know that I do all the custom sprites myself right?! lol Anyways, I kept those in as "Easter Eggs." You know I have been notorious for putting and leaving nods to other 2d game influences throughout certain stages. Maybe, this is overkill. I could tone it down..lol

Not really dude...waaay more surprises not even mentioned. Plus it's a little different seeing a preview of a map then playing it. Everything is subject to change!

Yep, the stage itself is about over half done so I still gotta add some more things.
