$299.99 for just the basic system and $349.99 for the deluxe. Good God that price seems overbearing.

Don't forget the November 18th launch date, which shockingly is also before the JP and EU launches too.

Definitely going to be picking up one of the 350 models. Also might be important to note that the basic model is white while the deluxe is black (with the addition of larger internal storage and NintendoLand included).

Not gonna pick it up on launch or anywhere near it, but I'd really like a Wii U. Really, really, really would like one.

Definitely would need to go for the more pricy model. More internal storage is a must.

...Of course, Nintendo might make it a limited time offer to transfer all your Virtual Console and WiiWare titles that are already downloaded to your Wii, in which case I'd have to get a U much sooner than expected. I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to pull something like that... :|

Bayoneta 2 will be exclusive to Wii U

SOLD.

Not that I was considering not getting it otherwise. Rayman Legends is going to rule! Actually, I'm already looking forward to Pikmin 3, New Super Mario Bros. U, Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition, Assassin's Creed 3, ZombiU, and Epic Mickey 2 (going to hold out for this version, so as to have the best quality Nintendo version as with the first game).

WiiU has some killer launch titles.

I'm going forward with a plan to save my poor gaming budget from necessary expenses by completely ignoring the Wii U for the time being.

I have a few privacy concerns over it's pseudo-social media ideas, and I don't want to have to invest in a new console anyway, which is definitely my biggest reason for passing on it.

On a side note, I'm not overly thrilled at the aforementioned launch titles; it's a fine example of a console manufacturer taking absolutely no risks in a potential new killer app off the bat, and sticking almost entirely to what's safe, familiar, and well worn with overuse. They won't SINK with that lineup, but they probably won't soar with it either. Anything is possible, but statistics and history are not on Nintendo's side with that lineup.

How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

The current titles don't really impress me. I doubt I'll wait inline like I did for the Wii. However, November is still off a ways and things may change. I just hope this doesn't turn out Wiiish and have a few good titles and the rest are carnival type games.

Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition

Perhaps someone can answer a question I have about the current editions of this game. Arkham Asylum makes me sick. I never really experience motion sickness from video games, but this one really does me in every time because of the low angle cam that shakes around a ton whenever Batman runs.

So, can anyone tell me if the sequel has the same kinda camera? I'm reeeaaally hoping not. I want to love the first one, but as it is, I doubt I'll ever finish it unless I just never run anywhere. I also don't know if I'll buy the sequel ever unless it fixes the camera.

Seriously, playing the first game for an hour or two, I feel nauseated for the rest of the day, and the only way to get rid of the queasiness and headache is to sleep for a good few hours. Pills and such, downing tons of water...doesn't make me feel any better.

I am outdated need to catch up one day but yeah bayoneta 2 sounds interesting I saw it on my friends computer screen but that was it. Other than that I do not recall any RPGS that are really worth buying mass effect pass.

Monolith has a new IP planned for the Wii U and has a single concept art for it. If Xenoblade is any indication it will be a quality RPG.

As for the Wii U, on one hand im interested in it but that $300 price tag is a bit too steep. On the otherhand I know damn well Nintendo won't drop the price until years later (unless a 3DS situation occurs.) The lineup so far is fine but not fine enough to shell out $300, although I wanna check out ZombiU, NSMBU Rayman Legends and The Wonderful 101.

I have no doubt in my mind that Nintendo will bring out the heavy hitters next E3 especially if they don't wanna get outshined by the next Xbox and (or) the PS4. And it seems that Nintendo is actually serious about reclaiming their lost hardcore gamers. I can see alot of japanese developers jumping ship to the Wii U with exclusive titles and acquiring Bayonetta 2 ( THANK YOU BASED NINTENDO  ;D ) is a sign of that statement.

So all in all I will get one but not at launch, maybe around next summer. If they're in stock.
