Title: Castlevania 2's randomness

You reach Castlevania with all Dracula's parts with you, then you prepare for the final boss, equip your shield and go burn all Dracula's parts.

Dracula appears and you ready your rib shield to defend yourse-! Wait, didn't you burn all Dracula's parts? Why are you holding Dracula's rib you moron?!

Dracula was revived and it was your fault all along...  :rollseyes:

Ehh, early game mechanics. Not the first time I've seen that happen on the NES.

I'm going to equip a fucking rock and crouch by this mountain for 30 seconds so a tornado appears and transports me to the next required area for no discernible reason.
