I don't know if anyone put this in here already or not, but I thought it was cool how when you sit down in the Confession Booth in the Royal Chapel if you get the good ghost priest he says a prayer for you. It's a small detail but I thought that it was kind of cool
What a horrible night to have a curse!

I thought I was missing the Power of Mist relic...then I realized you have to keep holding down both shoulder buttons for as long as you want to stay in mist form.  If you don't have it though, just check an FAQ, there's millions out there.  It's not one of the few item locations that have changed.  I think it used to be in the regular castle, in the keep, just under Drac's chamber where all those hanging pillars are.  Same "room" where you get the leap stone.

PSP SotN Issues

Some things that I've noticed about the new version of SotN on PSP:

Items appear darker than they do in other versions of the game, and they get brighter as they blink prior to disappearing.

Performing air dashes as Maria in the inverted version of the Underground Caverns can cause damage for no apparent reason. She even gets knocked back.

The darkness masking effect behind the waterfall in the Underground Caverns is accompanied by a rather unsightly white seam on its left edge.

The Fire Demon's death animation looks horrible.

The game freezes for a second or two once the boss battle in the Clock Tower begins, whether you're in the regular or inverted castle. This is due to how the PSP version loads the background music.

Using N Demon can crash the game and turn off your PSP. This is most common when close to the Nightmare area on the map or during the Succubus boss battle.

Also it seems SOTN got harder.

Or is it that level 41 isn't enough?

well i had it crash 3 times in a row at the dream coffin.
and i cut the N Demon off and it worked fine.
but i was thinking this was because i was playing it on my MS.
and not the umd so the umd crashes too?

but i didn't get none after going in and out alot unlike the other ver.
and if anything this ver of SOTN is easyer imo.
the boss's seemed to die with less hits than the other ver.
but could just be me :P
and galamoth can give you hell but get a good sword and cut him down

Yeah, I'm playing it from the UMD. It seems to be a known issue at this point. This port of SotN is really sloppy. As for the bosses, I, personally, believe that some of them were tweaked a bit. Not sure, though. Death seems to jump back further whenever you hit him, for instance. He actually managed to put up a decent fight, whereas I can usually finish him without him moving much.

You have to sit on the right side of the confessional and listen to the woman confess, then sit on the left side and be blest by the priest.  And he gives you Grape Juice (Wine in the Japanese version), not Grapes.

+ The revised script is ridiculous.  It's just an achingly literal straight translation.  The more nuanced dialogue in Blaustein's original localization was so much better.
It's not straight at all. Most of the dialogues are completely made up (like the prologue). Konami fails at translating, once again.

So what's the verdict; do you guys think this version of SotN is harder than the old version? I am not too far into it yet, but I already notice monsters doing quite a bit more damage than they use to, but they still die in one or two hits.
