Gonna try to do a custom Juste based on this redesign:
(click to show/hide)
Hope I'll actually get somewhere with it!  ;D

Does anyone have an unstretched version of NitM's Alt. Outfit Richter? I'm planning on using that as a base.

Seeing as I've gotten a bit into Contra lately, I thought I'd post this. I'm working on a Richter skin for Bill Rizer in Super Mario Bros. Crossover as a tribute to the Vamprotector project, and I figured I'd put together the running animation.

I like it!

Wow, thanks!  ;D
I also have an idea for what the powerups could look like in Vamprotector. (see attached file)

Well, the power-ups are going to be from Contra capsules. I don't know if you know, but basically there will be a weapon fusion system. I.E. Holy Water + Whip = Ice Whip. And all the regular Castlevania sub-weapons will have 3 varying forms increasing in power as well as an item crash. The whips will all have an Item Crash as well. This looks cool though. If you want to make more ideas, you can post them on my Vamprotector thread and I will look through them. If I use one or more of them in my game, I will credit you accordingly! Just make sure they are PNG files. Good work there!

What if the Flame Whip shot the spinning Fire projectile (from the first few Contra games) as its Whip Crash?

So, like I was saying before...
I know that in the Saturn version of SotN, the sprites were streched. Also in that version was Richter's alternate outfit. Therefore, any sheet of the alternate outfit is stretched. Does anyone have a non-stretched version of Richter's alternate outfit? I want to use it as a base for my custom Juste.

The problem is that I don't actually know how much it's stretched.  :P
I guess I don't really need an unstretched sprite sheet, but it would be nice to have an amount of stretchification. lol

Well, considering that the NitM outfit is really just an edit of SotN's RoB Richter, you could do a comparison and edit RoB Richter accordingly.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

I decided to recolor the terribly-colored HoD Blood Skeleton with different palettes.
With CV4's Blood Skeleton, I think it worked pretty well, so... that's good. I also tried to use the SotN Blood Skeleton, using only a selection of the colors (there's a HUGE amount of color, too much for the HoD sprite) and it made it look kind of like the one in CV1, but there's less contrast in the color scheme.  :P
I guess I really like the HoD Blood Skeleton, even if they have a terrible pallete.
