You're welcome, I needed to rip them myself, since I cant find it on internet nor anyone with free time to rip them. I need to take a time to arrange them in a better way and them send it to Spriter-Resource, a lot of people can benefit from that and these effects :)

The only problem is I have no idea how to animate it with Jonathan. :(
Oh well. I can still use it for other things, so that's good!  ;D
Also, am I the only one who loled when the leather whip was a bunch of brown rectangles connected to each other?

Yeah, its more strange when we stop to analyze it xD
Someone else did a better rip than mine much before than me, discovered today, check it here:

http://www.castlevaniaspain.com/viewtopic.php?t=3958&start=0

He have all whips too, with effects (It seems to lack Nebula effects though, so mine isnt that useless xD) and is easier to understand.

Very cool stuff!
Also, since we're on the topic of PoR whips, I was wondering.. is there a complete rip of the whip used by Richter in PoR? I've been needing that for a while.

Very nice! I like how it kind of combines his CV1 design with his CV2 design. It works well.

It's supposed to be like more Vampire Killer's variation of Simon:

I choose that pallet because I like the red and black more. :)

EDIT: Made some improvements.

Speaking of Simon, I'm going to do some new animations for him, seeing as he's one of the first things I posted on this forum. I'll probably make his sword animation more like DoS or PoR's swing animation. (not the greatsword swing though, I personally despise that animation)

I've been having this idea in my head for a while about a CV game with digitized sprites kind of like shinobi on sega Saturn, or the original MK games.

I thought it looked really cool in shinobi. Simon in CV4 almost looks digitized. It might be a really cool look for a more realistic looking side scroller.

I'm not going to do this any time soon if at all because I'm in the middle of making a game with a completely different art style. But it's something I've thought about as I research costumes for characters.

But it could be fun to try to make a digitized Simon sprite sheet.

Has anyone ever done it?

I've seem some people doing this in Newgrounds and Mugen. Also they did it in the web-series "Captain S", you should check it since its very fun.

I have some prohibited footage from MK1 Making of too (Jonhy Cage actor leaked it in his youtube channel before being taken down), you can only normally find photos from MK2 and videos of MK3, where they used the green screen trick for chromakey. But in MK1 they dont used a green or blue sheet, instead they used a very bright lamp in a dark room.

Hello again. I did Annette's wings by base from Succubus's, all of the wings will modified to look like the lowest sprite in her sheet. And more. Carrie and Malus from CV64.

Here's something I was curious about: the whips used in Simon's Quest Revamped. Are there sheets for them? I really like the way they look.
