Desperately hoping it's a Classicvania, makes sense when they say the games are going for a direction "not everyone will be happy with."

I never thought about this, but this would be awesome.

More likely than not it's a shitty spinoff game, though. I just know it's going to be in a non-action genre, if for no other reason than because they're today-Konami and they have to fuck something up.

2.5D AlucardVania.That would be awesome.
I'd rather another castlevania game where BOTH Alucard & a Belmont are playable characters.

Akumajo Dracula: Gallery of Labyrinth 2. Except "Labyrinth" here means Jonathan and Charlotte are turned into marbles and stuck in one of those wooden mazes you tilt with knobs.

So, basically Kirby's Tilt 'n' Tumble 3, with an unrelated franchise.

No matter what goes down I can tell you one thing:

There will be tears and not the bloody kind.

You never know, one of us might have cancer.

Maybe it will be an action game, but like Asura's Wrath where all the really cool parts are several minute long QTE sequences.

...

Maybe Konami is just toying with our minds, setting our expectations so despairingly low that when they do reveal their new Castlevania game we recieve it with praise as opposed to anger - because in reality they put no greater effort into it than what they normally do.

It's kinda like how your parents would forget about your birthday even through you reminded them countless times beforehand, it's a real bummer when that actually happens.

Oh well, here hoping for a decent 30th.

In 2016.

When most of us will be in our late 20's early 30's(or over 30) still waiting on that 1999 game and we end up getting the third LOS game instead for the next gen systems.

Very Possible, I've stated that Konami has released 3 original Games on every Gen of Nintendo Handhelds.

this is only the first of three.

Now, now, Konami hasn't revealed anything horrific yet. (Outside of that Vita Silent Hill, blech.)

...But I suppose an anticipatory pitchfork sharpening is in order.
