Virtually everybody has herpes. If someone out there doesn't they are in the minority. They talk about this on the show Adam ruins Everything.

Nope. Besides genital herpes aren't the big bad boogieman that society has played it out to be. It's very easy to get a handle the disease. Simply keep yourself regularly clean down there and you shouldn't have any problems. Besides the whole fear-mongering of herpes comes from people who did not know what they were talking about: people whom were of religious circles and had absolutely no medical/scientific backgrounds whatsoever. And the world ate right out of their hands as if it was a godsend.

Basic hygiene for the average person shouldn't be an issue.
On the theme of people having VD's it's each to their own on who you trust and let into your bed. My personal motto is "you must be this clean (100%) to ride".

Are you kidding?

ever have a cold sore and/or chicken pox?

congratulations, you've had a virus of the herpes family

hsv2 is the primary sexual one, hsv1 can sometimes affect genitalia, and the rest can cause shit ranging from aforementioned chickenpox/cold sores to pneumonia and mono and even some cancers

x is also correct in "junk herps ain't that bad actually, yo", considering it's basically just chicken pox on your crotch

dickin' pox, dare i say?

so yeah, ~90% of the adult populace has some form of the little bastard in some form or another (usually it's dormant, and often in nerve clusters because the immune system generally won't fuck with nerve cells)

Yeah but chicken pox is something you only get once and then it's done with. But it is better to get them while you're still young since much older people do have troubles when going through the stages of the disease. At least from what I've heard.

at least until you get shingles later

Which -ironically enough- I did  :P

I got them up my left shoulder and neck and that simulated a migraine. I was bedridden for at least one day with a cold wet cloth on my forehead. The worst part of said virus is depending where you get it, it will simulate other bodily issues. For instance: If you get it around you lower right body it can simulate appendicitis.
