I want it!

What platforms are we talking about? I see one of the stretch goals is PS4/Vita, but I don't see anything else. Is it PC? I'd love this on the 3DS, even if it's only eShop.

Sounds like this will be a PC-only game. Cheaper and easier to develop for, and I doubt they'll reach the PS4/Vita stretch.

3DS would be boss, though.

Sigh. I don't have a PC anymore, only Mac. Then again, I was never a computer gamer. Console is my thing. But when I see stuff like this I get sad. Cause I want it.

Seriously, why we are being blessed with all these games in the same year, all in Kickstarter? Our planet will be destroyed next year and they are trying to make us happy while they can or what?

I just noticed this under the $60 reward tier:

"SIMON'S CURSE =========================== You'll receive an in-game, mystical-themed morning star on every new start. Now you can cause a plague o' all their houses."

;D

Shame it's such an expensive item. I rarely pay that much for a Kickstarter campaign and won't be for this game, so I'll miss out on the cool reference. :<

Some new stretch goals announced (in addition to the unchanged PS4/Vita goal).

$205,000 - Mac and Linux
$280,000 - PS4 and Vita
$320,000 - Wii U and 3DS
$360,000 - Xbox One
$390,000 - PS3

Kinda backwards if you ask me. They ought to be focusing on bringing it to the PS3, 360, and (my preferences) the Wii U and 3DS before any other platforms. These outrageous stretch goals don't really give people incentive to back the project if they're wanting to play on a console, which I certainly would like to.

WTF? Even more baffling since PS3 is the last on the goal, also no 360?

Hm. Those stretch goals are backwards indeed. My best hope is a Mac version, and then a 3DS one. Would've liked it on the PS3 but that's probably not gonna happen then. And 360, where art thou? Hmm. Weird.

With 11 days to go, one might wonder if this is gonna make it at all...

I'm not terribly hopeful they'll reach their goal. BUT, they've been working on the game for quite a while now, and I'm guessing a Kickstarter failure would just mean the game getting pushed back but will see the light of day eventually.
