Ok. So first of all, I honestly think the Lords of Shadow games are the worst games in the series, but I play them anyway to get story and to be a true fan. I recently have completed Mirror of Fate, the main point of this post, however, is a complaint about the story. Alucard and Trevor cannot be the same person as portrayed in Mirror of Fate. My reasoning is that in Castlevania 3, they met, spoke, and went to fight Dracula as a team. For a bit more proof, they appear as animated corpses for a boss fight in SOTN. If anybody can give me a legitimate reason as to why they decided to ruin the story of Castlevania 3, I would very much like to read it. Thank you.

The Mirror of Fate games are an entirely seperate "universe", it's a reboot, a while different story based of the original but not sequals to the original, everything is different and the original games stories have nothing to do with these ones, you must have been really confussed when you played lords of shadow, which set up a whole new origin for dracula, even though Lament of Innocence also shows the origin of dracula lol

And they ruined the story of castlevania 3 because frankly they're poor writers.

Its called Castlevania - Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate for a reason. Its another timeline, another universe, so thats why the things are different here. Welcome to the forum and good luck.

It's a new universe a new "abridged" story if you want, an alternate take ignoring the previous timeline, and they coecist as separate but similar series. Chill man.
