Let the speculation begin, it's going to be a new pachinko, a new anthology or a new game?

First and second likely. Third seems farfetched at this point.
-
I doubt its a pachinko... didn't Covid severely hurt that side of the business, prompting them to have a renewed interest in video games? It's also hard to imagine this being another mobile game, since they have one in development already. This may actually be a real new Castlevania game.
-
Companies often do this just to renew the license. Doesn’t necessarily mean they intend on doing anything with it. Y’all remember when Square Enix trademarked the title “Chrono Break” which ultimately lead to nothing. There are many many other examples

Most likely the first. The second is a remote probability. The third is a definite unknown.
-
i’m hoping for a theme park
but seriously, it does seem like things are aligning for an actual new game in the relatively near future. probably old school too in my guess.
-
I mean, announcing a Fuuma sequel after 35ish years has kinda shown to me that anything's possible at this point, even a new game. Still, I dont want to get my hopes too high up just yet.
-
The observation about COVID killing the gambling business is astute. And yeah, Fuma getting a game is an interesting development. Wild speculation could be that Konami saw how well the Bloodstained games are doing and may be putting a low-budget CV game into the works.
But yeah, the example of "Chrono Break" also seems pretty spot on. Likely the trademark was up for renewal and they renewed it. Simple as that.
-
My guess is Castlevania Anniversary Collection 2 with the GBA and PS2 titles.
They could be doing the whole "Bloodstained clone" thing, which would bring that whole thing full circle in a hilarious way. Not gonna put my hopes into it too much though when they're chasing that sweet, sweet China money with Moonlight Rhapsody.
-
Can't wait to see the new pachibabe shaking her butt around
-
I think the best we could hope for is a Bloodstained clone based on the Netflix series. But even that is pretty unlikely.
-
Up to this point, i'll take anything that's Castlevania, except from Pachinko.
-
Optimistic answer: all-new game/reboot to rival Bloodstained
Realistic answer: Anniversary Collection 2, US release for Moonlight Rhapsody, or trademark renewal as some have suggested
Jaded, cynical answer: Castlevania Pachislot MOBILE
Hold onto your butts till E3.
-
Technically Pachislot Mobile already exists. It was just a phone port of the first casino game. But apparently it bombed and Konami took it down after a year.
-
I think it's gonna be an anthology
-
A small update to the rumors.

Don't. Don't give me hope. :'(
-
Let's hope Konami find the Light.
Platinum games MGR2 >:(
Can Konami hire IGA? :'(
-
it’d be interesting if Konami ever worked with any of the indi companies that worked on any of the Bloodstained games.
EDIT:
Well, the purpose of the trademarks has been confirmed to just being a renewal of trademarks and not related to a new game. I still think the conditions are right for a new game, though the process of creating a new one might take a while. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t hear a peep about a new game until Getsu Fuhma is delivered. Until then, I’ll just look forward to that one and hope they at least slip in a few more reofferings of older Castlevania games before then.

Hahahaha i was right ;D
Anyone still hoping for Konami to “wake up” & start making games again, there’s a better chance for another company to buy out Konami instead
